Has the Xuzhou Expressway been unblocked?

As of March 8, 2024, some highways have been unblocked. The entrance from Xinyi East to Shanghai in the Xuzhou section of the G2 Beijing-Shanghai Expressway has been opened. On March 8, 2024, the two-way entrance from Tongyang, Shuyang, and Huji to Shanghai and Shuyang North in the Suqian section of the G2 Beijing-Shanghai Expressway will be opened, and the Shuyang North diversion point will be cancelled.

Haze weather is currently occurring in some areas of Jiangsu Province. Affected by this, some expressways in Xuzhou, Huai'an, Lianyungang, Suqian, and Nanjing have implemented special (road closure) traffic control measures. The special controlled road sections are as follows: Nanjing Fourth Bridge, G2 Beijing-Shanghai Expressway Xinyi, Suqian, and Huai'an sections, G3 Beijing-Taiwan Expressway Xuzhou section, G15 Shenhai Expressway Lianyungang section, G25 Changshen Expressway Lianyungang, Huai'an, Ninghuai Nanjing section, G2513 Huai Xuzhou and Suqian sections of Xu Expressway, Xuzhou section of G30 Lianhuo Expressway, Xinyi and Suqian sections of S49 Xinyang Expressway, and S69 Jixu Expressway.
