Author of "It's Cold": [Tang] Han Wo

The blue and dry embroidered curtain hangs, and the scarlet screen is painted with broken branches.

an eight-foot dragon must have a square brocade mattress. When the weather is cool but not cold,

this poem describes the luxurious furnishings in the house in an elaborate way, and points out the unique seasonal atmosphere that is cool but not cold. The protagonist never showed up, but the hint of the brocade mattress on the bed and the contrast of the broken branches show vaguely the protagonist's feelings of longing for love life in the loneliness of the boudoir. The whole poem is profound, euphemistic and implicit, and it takes a lot of effort to conceive.

note

(1) scarlet: scarlet.

(2) Dragon beard: Juncus.

(3) screen: something used for shielding and partition.
