Why is a computer called an electronic computer?

Computers were originally called electronic computers, but later they were simply called computers. The difference between a computer and an electronic calculator is that the size of the central processor is used to calculate data, but the calculation speed of a computer is much faster and more comprehensive than that of a calculator, or a calculator has lower requirements for processing data for convenience and cost reduction, so it has lower requirements for the central processor than a computer.
