Brief introduction of Jizu Mountain

Jizu Mountain is a national AAAA-level scenic spot, a famous Buddhist shrine in South Asia and Southeast Asia, and one of the top ten famous Buddhist mountains in China.

Jizu Mountain, located in Binchuan County, is named after the shape of a chicken foot. This is a famous Buddhist shrine. According to legend, it is the Dojo of Ye Jia, the great disciple of Sakyamuni. It is very effective, and many pilgrims come here to pay homage. In addition, there are many precious historical sites and ancient temples on the mountain, and you can also enjoy the beautiful mountain scenery.

Jizu Mountain mainly includes Zhu Sheng Temple, Huayan Temple, Deng Hui Temple, Jinding Temple, Lingyan Pagoda and other historical sites, which can be visited one by one along the scenic route. The entrance to the scenic spot is located at the "Lingshan Yi Hui" archway, and it is about 1 1 km on foot, or you can reach Zhu Sheng Temple directly by bus. Zhu Sheng Temple is a famous well-preserved temple in Jizu Mountain. It was built by Xu Yun, a monk of the Qing Dynasty, with the support of Cixi. Emperor Guangxu named it "Blessing Temple for Protecting the Country", and the panoramic view of Jizu Mountain painted on the tall zhaobi on the left side of the temple gate should not be missed. There are several ways to climb the mountain from Zhu Sheng Temple. It takes about 1.5 hours to walk, or you can ride a horse. The destination is the ropeway station next to Deng Hui Temple, or you can take a battery car.

From Deng Hui Temple to the top of the mountain, you can choose to walk or take a cableway, and you will pass the temple buildings such as Yejia Hall, Bronze Buddha Hall and Huashoumen along the way. Among them, Jinding Temple on Tianzhu Peak is the higher temple in Jizu Mountain. The original Golden Temple in the temple was rebuilt in 2005. It is said that it was built with gold, which is very gorgeous. When the weather is fine, you can overlook Cangshan Erhai Lake in Jinding Temple and even see Yulong Snow Mountain in Lijiang.

If you have enough time and want to feel the rich Buddhist atmosphere in Jizu Mountain, I suggest staying in the mountain for one night. Jinding Reception Department next to Jinding Temple provides accommodation, and Xianghui Street, about 5 minutes away from Jinding Temple, also has a farmhouse inn to provide accommodation.
