History of China-Battle of Zhuolu

The charm of China's history is unparalleled. If it can be made into an anime movie, it will definitely be popular.

The Battle of Zhuolu (Zhuo: Zhuo) is said to be a large-scale war in ancient China. Huangdi, a great teacher, and Yan Di, a Shennong, joined hands to fight against Jiuli people in Chiyou. About 4000 years ago, it was named after it broke out in the land of Zhuolu.

According to legend, Chiyou is the king of Jiuli, and Jiuli is Jiuyi, which belongs to Dongyi Group. He also said, "Eighty-one Chiyou brothers, talking to animals and people, eating sand and stones with bronze heads, making staff, swords and crossbows, shocked the world." Chiyou is the leader of a tribal alliance composed of nine related tribes.

They are brave and good at fighting, and their weapons and equipment are relatively advanced. These legends reflect the shadow of real history and have been proved by archaeology. Chiyou sent troops to the west to explore the fertile land of the Central Plains. He first defeated Emperor Yan in eastern Henan. Emperor Yan was forced to ask the Yellow Emperor for help, and the battle of Zhuolu broke out.

The battle of Zhuolu ended in the defeat and killing of Chiyou, but the Jiuli tribe did not completely disintegrate, but gradually merged into the Huaxia nationality and became a part of the Huaxia nationality.

The battle of Zhuolu is a war in ancient legends of China. Due to the influence of myths and legends, we can't restore the whole picture of this war at present. But through the legend of this war, we can know that at the end of primitive society in China, some tribal groups were formed, and fierce armed conflicts took place between them.

About four or five thousand years ago, during the patriarchal society in China, the Chiyou Jiuli nationality rose in the border areas of Hebei, Shandong and Henan, and its power developed from east to west. The Jiuli nationality originally lived in the south, then went north to the Central Plains, and clashed with the tribe headed by the Yellow Emperor. These two forces are fighting for areas suitable for grazing, hunting and shallow farming.

Join forces at the junction of Henan, Hebei and Shandong today and launch a long-term war in Zhuolu (now Zhuolu County, Hebei Province). The Yellow Emperor first annexed the tribes in Yan Di, and then captured and killed Chiyou.

Chiyou led his 72 clans (or 8 1 clan) against each other. Because Chiyou had excellent weapons and equipment, the Yellow Emperor was on the defensive at the beginning of the battle. The Huangdi clan, with bears, brave warriors, wolves and leopards as totems, has won many battles.

The Yellow Emperor ordered Ying Long to store water to resist Chiyou. Chiyou invited the rain master from Fengbo, "it was dark", and the lightning in Ying Long broke through the water array. At a critical juncture, the Yellow Emperor called the goddess Nu Wa to clear up. Chiyou and Huangdi fought each other on the battlefield. Chiyou used dense fog to make the Yellow Emperor's army lose its way.

Huangdi invented the compass to tell the direction and successfully rushed out of the dense fog blockade. After several battles in succession, the Yellow Emperor finally captured and killed Chiyou in the wilderness of central Hebei (now Zhuozhou, Hebei Province, which still preserves the remains of Chiyou's tomb), and won a great victory, becoming the master of the tribes in the Central Plains.
