Where is Longjing produced?

Longjing tea, one of the four famous teas, is produced in Zhejiang. Longjing tea is the leading product of Zhejiang tea. The products in the West Lake producing area have a long history, profound cultural heritage and obvious product characteristics, and become the golden business card of China tea. In 2002, Longjing Tea was protected by geographical indication products. Longjing tea is produced in Zhejiang province 18 counties (cities, districts), and the producing areas are divided into three areas: West Lake, Qiantang and Yuezhou.

Longjing tea produced in West Lake area has the best quality. Longjing tea produced in Shifeng, Longjing, Yun Qi, Hupao and meijiawu core areas is called West Lake Longjing tea. Longjing produced in Qiantang (Binjiang, Xiaoshan, Yuhang, Fuyang, Lin 'an and other counties and cities in Hangzhou) and Yuezhou (Shaoxing, Xinchang, Shengzhou, Zhuji and other counties and cities) is called Longjing Tea or Zhejiang Longjing.
