Meng Wei said that in order to ensure that the prices of various commodities do not fluctuate greatly during the holiday season, the National Development and Reform Commission insists on daily monitoring and dynamic analysis of the price changes of 50 important consumer goods to ensure that signs, tendencies and potential problems are found at the first time and early warning, and timely regulation and supervision are carried out. At the same time, in conjunction with relevant departments, guide all localities to conscientiously implement the linkage mechanism linking social assistance and security standards with price increases. Once the market price changes meet the starting conditions of the mechanism, temporary price subsidies will be issued in time to effectively protect the basic livelihood of the people in need.
