What's the climate like in Deyang?

The climate of Sichuan Basin belongs to subtropical monsoon climate, which is characterized by:

Compared with the same latitude area, the annual average temperature is obviously higher, especially in winter, because the cold air is blocked by Daba Mountain in the northern Qinling Mountains, the average temperature in Sichuan Basin in winter is much higher than that in the middle and lower reaches of the Yangtze River, which is equivalent to that in northern Guangdong. The annual accumulated temperature is higher than that at the same latitude, and the frost-free period is longer than that at the same latitude.

The closed basin is one of the areas with the least sunshine time in China (another area with the least sunshine time is Guizhou), because the relatively low surrounding mountainous areas in the southeast are conducive to the entry of water vapor, while the relatively high mountainous areas in the northwest are not conducive to the loss of water vapor, resulting in high air humidity, rain and fog.

The closed terrain leads to the low annual wind speed in Sichuan Basin, which is one of the areas with the smallest annual average wind speed in China.

There are many similarities and differences between the climate in the east and west of Sichuan Basin. It is usually rainy in May-June in the east (similar to plum rain in the south of the Yangtze River), and it is controlled by subtropical high in July-August, with high temperature and drought, which is one of the highest summer temperatures in China. There are many spring droughts in the west from April to May, and it is rainy in July and August due to the warm and humid airflow in the southwest.
