Does rainy weather affect photovoltaic power generation?

The principle of photovoltaic power generation is to use the irradiation energy of light to convert light energy into electric energy, which is adjusted into direct current and alternating current that can be used by users or accepted by the power grid through DC voltage regulators, inverters and other devices. Obviously, in rainy days, the irradiation energy is seriously insufficient, and the above purpose cannot be achieved, which greatly reduces the functionality of the photovoltaic system.

In addition, for the device, the conventional DC voltage regulator and inverter are generally indoors, and the household and micro inverters are outdoors. The IPXY protection level of the equipment must also be able to withstand the test of rainy days.

For the light plate, if it is fixed, the weather change cannot be reflected. However, for the tracking type (or according to the sky type), when it rains and it is windy, the light plate is generally placed horizontally to minimize the contact area with the wind, thus reducing the probability of damage to the light plate.
