Where will the 2023 Climate Summit be held?

The 2023 United Nations Climate Summit was held in Dubai.

The United Nations Climate Change Conference is an annual meeting under the framework of UNFCCC. The meeting assessed the progress in tackling climate change, and began to discuss the Kyoto Protocol in the mid-1990s, establishing the legally binding obligations of developed countries to reduce greenhouse gas emissions.

Any final text of the Conference of the Parties must be agreed by consensus. Since 1995, the United Nations Climate Change Conference has been held in different parts of the world every year. The first congress was held in Berlin on 1995.

At the end of 2023, the 28th United Nations Climate Change Conference (COP28 of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change) will be held in Dubai.
