The management of flight technology is not strict, and some captains have low technical quality: when the visibility of the plane is poor before landing and the road surface is not clear, the captains lack the experience of flying in heavy rain, fail to lower the throttle and lever according to the normal control method, and make the plane quit the glide posture according to the change of runway lighting. The idea of "safety first" is not firm, and the organization and leadership are weak: since last year, the security situation of China Southern Airlines has been poor, and the leaders have not fully understood the situation, been blindly optimistic and complacent, failed to take fundamental measures to reverse the passive situation, failed to properly handle the relationship between security and development and efficiency, and paid insufficient attention to safety.
