Which is more dangerous, Wudaoliang or Tuotuo River?
Wudaoliang and Tuotuo River are both dangerous. The climate of Tuotuo River is very harsh, dry and cold, windy and rainy, with changeable weather. There are no obvious four seasons, only the difference between dry and wet seasons. October-April is the dry season, and May-September is the wet season. Wudaoliang, located in the high mountain area of Qinghai-Tibet Plateau, is characterized by high altitude, cold climate, perennial snow, less vegetation, thin oxygen and high mercury content in soil. Both of them are places with bad climate and prone to altitude sickness, and are called "the gate of hell" by local people, so Wudaoliang and Tuotuo River are more dangerous.
