Once, I saw such a proverb in a book about meteorology-"It will rain when ants move". I'm skeptical. Ants are busy moving, will it really rain? So I have a strong curiosity to test this proverb.

One afternoon in summer, I was enjoying the cool under a big tree when I happened to find a group of black ants moving. They are all in a hurry, some with ivory ant eggs, some with beige ant pupae, some with old ants, injured ants, and some with all kinds of food ... Suddenly I thought of that proverb, so I settled down to observe and verify it. I looked up at the high blue sky, and now it is clear in Wan Li.

A few hours later, the blue sky began to clear up and turn cloudy. After a while, dark clouds were gathering, thunder and lightning flashed, and soon it began to rain cats and dogs. Now, I am speechless. I secretly praise you, little ants, you are really a barometer of breathing!

Through these, I understand that these proverbs have scientific basis. I am proud that we have such ancestors.

First, we visited the Meteorological Science Museum in the building of Meteorological Bureau 1 1. There are artificial precipitation simulator Fengyun-2 observation instrument, ground observation model of urban lightning simulator and weather forecast production flow chart on the wall. There is a computer in the center of the exhibition hall for visitors to check their own meteorological knowledge. The software in the computer is informative and interesting, suitable for all ages. What excites me most is that I personally experienced the newspaper I saw in the movie.

Meteorological data is generated at 17 layer. The data generated by various meteorological satellites and meteorological equipment are summarized and analyzed here, and finally announced by the personnel on duty. Because the weather is greatly influenced by human activities, sometimes it is inevitable to have a "weather forecast". Now we can predict the weather in 14 days.

As for the weather forecast programs we usually see on TV, they are all made by dubbing and editing according to the weatherman's judgment report. Visitors can witness the whole process of making meteorological programs on the 18 floor.

After returning to China, I became interested in meteorological proverbs. I hope one day I can "borrow" the east wind as skillfully as Zhuge Liang!

Visit the meteorological observatory

Today's instruments were invented after repeated improvements. The weather forecast every night is earned by workers with sweat. The announcer of the Meteorological Observatory explained in detail the history of meteorology, the formation of climate, the detection of temperature and the close relationship between human beings and climate. I looked around and found that the workers were not affected by our noise at all and were still working hard. Soon, the short film was over and we walked out quietly. There are many billboards about meteorological knowledge downstairs. We lie on billboards like hungry people in the desert, constantly copying and discussing: what is extreme weather, how lightning weather is formed, and what is the activity of sunspots ... I suddenly feel that this house is not shabby, and those instruments are not clumsy and bulky, because they are the crystallization of the wisdom and sweat of workers, and how convenient they have brought us!
