Climate conditions in the Barossa Valley

The Barossa Valley has a Mediterranean climate, with wet and cold winters and dry and hot summers. The weather is quite warm day and night in spring and autumn, and the average maximum temperature in summer is about 28 degrees Celsius (but the temperature in inland areas can be as high as 40 degrees Celsius), and in winter the temperature drops to about 15 degrees Celsius. You can usually wear cool casual clothes, but the temperature difference between day and night is large, so you need to wear an extra coat.
