Guangxi has subtropical monsoon climate and tropical monsoon climate.

Guangxi has a warm climate, abundant rainfall and abundant sunshine. In summer, the sunshine time is long, the temperature is high, the precipitation is high, and in winter, the sunshine time is short, and the weather is dry and warm. Gale, thunderstorm, hail and low temperature (freezing) are common meteorological disasters.

Guangxi is located in the southeast edge of Yunnan-Guizhou Plateau, the second step of China's topography, west of the hills of Guangdong and Guangxi, and south of Beibu Gulf.
