Have you ever experienced the embarrassment of running out of oil while traveling in Tibetan areas?
Two years ago, I wanted to take the Zangbo route in Gong Yi, from Zhongyu, Bagai and Gong Yi in Kerry County, Naqu, Tibet, to Tongmai on the 3 18 national highway. Before I left, there wasn't much information on the Internet. I groped as I walked. According to my own experience, as long as the fuel tank shows half less, I will fill it up when I see the gas station, but the fuel tank of the car I was driving at that time was either very large or an ordinary 70L fuel tank.
After filling up my car at a private gas station on the roadside in Kerry County, I think I should be able to reach National Highway 3 18. I didn't expect to see a few kilometers ahead before I left Kerry County, accompanied by several loud noises. The man in the car in front told me that this was a way to clear the way, and it would take five or six hours to release it. A few people in the car in front came from the engineering headquarters that built the line from Kerry to Zhongyu Township. The man I talked to was surnamed Cheng, from Shiyan, Hubei. He suddenly had a bad stomachache on the construction site last night and was sent to Kerry County Hospital for treatment overnight. I almost recovered this morning, so I went back to the headquarters of Zhongyu Township from Kerry County to compare the local situation.
Three other colleagues and I sat on the side of the road bored and watched the gun battle in the distance. Old Cheng came over and asked us why we didn't blow the air conditioner in the car on such a hot day, but basked outside. I said, we're going to Tongmai, and the fuel tank is small. I'm afraid we can't find a gas station in the middle and get to Tongmai. Old Cheng said there was nothing to worry about. If there is not enough oil, he told him that their headquarters has more than ten tons of fuel all the year round, and the key to the fuel depot is in his hand. He was in a hurry to go back and open the warehouse door, otherwise the follow-up project could not be carried out.
As soon as I saw what he said, I immediately asked three female colleagues to get on the bus and turn on the air conditioner, and began to take out the poker upgrade. Old Cheng came to talk to us from time to time, asking for cigarettes and water. Thinking of asking him for something in the future, we naturally don't talk nonsense and give whatever we want. As Cheng said, it took five hours to shoot the mountain, and we just passed it. Lao Cheng's car is in the front and ours is in the back. It seems that only two cars from Kerry go to Zhongyu Township today.
When Zhongyu arrived, my oil meter showed almost half a tank of oil, but I don't think I was worried. After all, there is still a long way to go. It was past four o'clock in the afternoon when we arrived in Zhongyu. We came to the headquarters of the old city-a row of iron houses. I asked Lao Cheng when it would be convenient for us to refuel, and I will give you money according to your normal selling price. What did Lao Cheng say about paying? Just drive the car into the yard, and I'll ask the workers to add some for you. As he walked, he said, it's very hot now, and we are all number 0 here. Is your car okay?
No problem? All right! I said, Brother Cheng, this is a petrol car. Cheng Ge: Huh? Gasoline car, my warehouse is full of diesel, why don't you go to several grocery stores in the village and ask!
In this way, we broke away from the old routine of "cheating". I went to the grocery store in Zhongyu Township (also called Mud House) and asked several companies one after another. They all told us that there was no gasoline to sell. I asked an honest-looking Tibetan boss where I can add gasoline around here. He showed his white teeth and told me: County!
Seeing that Zhongyu ran out of gasoline, we had to keep going. Out of the village, and see the headquarters of the old routine, several of us together to cast a deep malicious eyes. Not far from Zhongyu, we met a Tibetan fellow who was herding cattle by the roadside. I got off the bus and asked if we were on our way to Bagai Township. Tibetan villagers must nod, I said how long. My brother slapped him in the depths and said, an hour! I repeatedly confirmed: an hour?
Yes, an hour. I then asked, is the road behind easy? Tibetan villagers shook their heads, I don't know, and I haven't walked!
We thought that even if there were some deviations, it would not be too much difference. We should arrive in Bagai town in two hours. Let's go! Get off the boat, because Zhongmou belongs to Naqu Jiali County and Bazhai belongs to Linzhi bomi county. Although the distance between the two places is not far, there is not much contact, and this road is even more sparsely populated than the road from Kerry to Zhongyu. We are looking for a route along the path and the runway. When you encounter a wading road, you need to explore it manually. When we meet a fork in the road, we need to confirm it carefully. When we encountered a landslide, we had to build our own roads. In this way, we walked in the mouth of Tibetan villagers for almost eight hours, and it was already twelve o'clock at night when we arrived in Bagai Township.
Bagai township should be relatively large, but we arrived too late. We didn't even see anyone in the village and couldn't find a place to refuel. I asked three colleagues what to do next. The three of them shook their heads. It's up to you, and then they all went to sleep again.
I had to bite the bullet and walk in the direction of Gong Yi Zangbu until two o'clock in the morning. I really can't walk any further, because there was a landslide accident on the road ahead, and several of us can't rule it out, so we can only wait for the construction team to repair it tomorrow. I said to the three of them: sleep in the car. The car is really out of gas, so the warm air will not be turned on at night. I'll set up a tent below. Then I found a relatively open and safe place to park.
At eight o'clock the next morning, the road repairman began to work after breakfast. They were also surprised to find that the main roads were covered by landslides. There is a car not far before the landslide. Three little girls slept in the car, and there was a tent not far from the car. There is a young man sleeping in a tent. They were curious and asked around us how it collapsed last night. I said we didn't know anything, and we collapsed when we arrived. By the way, I tentatively asked: Brothers, do you have spare gasoline?
Nobody paid any attention to me and started driving an excavator to grab the sidewalk. At eleven o'clock, the road was robbed In addition to the vehicle personnel they built, there is only one social vehicle waiting to be released. It's really embarrassing. A road repairman in a yellow hat came up to me and told me that it was a good road to Gong Yi. There is a bank in Gong Yi Village and a small supermarket next to it. Their boss secretly sells bulk gasoline all the year round with reasonable price and good quality. I looked at the yellow refueling sign and kept thanking my little brother. Although the road ahead is not easy, at least there is hope in my heart. I feel that the fuel gauge has completely reached the lower left, and I can't go down any more. We finally arrived in Gong Yi Town and found the legendary small supermarket.
The boss is nice. Pass me a bucket of arowana and a stocking, 5 1 bucket. I quickly handed over 102 barrels. The boss asked me for another 50: there is no need to add two barrels to the Sichuan-Tibet line. It is dozens of kilometers away from 3 18 national highway, all of which are oil roads. Go to a regular and cheap gas station to refuel, or leave the oil to those who need it more! I thought to myself, the boss is really a visionary who is far away from the rivers and lakes and looks up at the temple. I'm really embarrassed to refuse. Just now, I said that my broken car costs too much oil. I'm afraid five liters of oil won't last the whole wheat. Please be kind and give me another bucket. Seeing my pity, the boss took back 50 yuan and handed me a bucket of oil and a stocking. Don't forget to tell me when you leave the house: bring me back the empty bucket and stockings after refueling!
After adding ten liters of oil, the whole person and car are in another state, and the music is on! Blow the air conditioner! After an hour of jubilation, we arrived at Tongmai, which used to be the hardest part of the Sichuan-Tibet line, and now it has become a smooth road. I found a restaurant to eat and asked the boss if there is a gas station in Tongmai now. The boss said no, now that the road has been repaired so well, Tongmai, a small town that once rose due to traffic jams, is rapidly declining, and it is estimated that there will be no motivation to build gas stations in the future. I said, do you sell bulk oil? The boss said of course, 140 a barrel. I asked how big the bucket was, and the boss was holding a bottle of arowana (it seems that arowana is really popular in Tibetan areas! ) strokes: so big. I said it's not only 5L, but your liter is almost 30% off, which is too expensive. The boss said, if you think it's too expensive, go to another house. Now our bulk oil is mainly sold to motorcyclists and local Tibetans, and the price is not cheap.
I really can't figure it out. In a remote and sparsely populated place like Gong Yi Town, the price of the same barrel of gasoline has tripled when it reaches Tongmai with convenient transportation. I have asked several supermarkets and restaurants in Tongmai, all of which sell gasoline and bulk oil, but the prices seem to be agreed, either 140 a barrel or 150 a barrel.
Our established plan of wiring through Yigong Tibetan has been completed, and we are not going to Lhasa again. We are going to take the downtown line to Chengdu and then go straight back to Beijing. Therefore, the nearest gas station should be in bomi county. Although we can afford the price of 145 1 barrel of wheat, I really don't want to be a sucker, so we decided to bite the bullet and go to Bomi. I remember there are two gas stations in Bomi Temple, the one in the south is state-owned and the one in the north is private. The price is expensive, so we decided to go to this state-owned gas station to refuel.
All the way to the gas station in Bomi, the oil gun showed that the fuel was 69.8 liters. If the factory parameters of my fuel tank are measured accurately, and it is really 70L, then the remaining fuel tank before I refuel is about 0.2L, which can almost run1.5km..
