Site of Sifang City, Zuo Qi, Bahrain, the hometown of Qidan
If you want to find the trace of Liao country and restore the historical imprint of Han Chang's family, you can't miss the site of Sifang City in Zuo Qi, Bahrain. This ancient city, which has experienced thousands of years of storms, contains many unknown secrets. Approaching it, we will know the true story of Yang Jiajiang and Liao and Song Dynasties.
My first contact with Sifang city site was at 1999. On April 6th of that year, I got a clue when dealing with a public security case: in Zhangjia Zi Ying Village, Biliutai Township, someone smashed a stone tablet coming back from Baiyin Hanla Mountain and threw it into the river at the east end of the village on the night of1995165438+10. The address is unknown. This is a common occurrence for a policeman like me, and I didn't take it to heart at that time.
At 3pm on April 25th, Liu Jiaoshou and his party from the Institute of Ethnic Studies of China Academy of Social Sciences came to Bahrain to investigate the relationship between Yutian Han nationality and the royal family of Liao Dynasty, YeLvdashi and Xiao family. As there is no guest house in the township government, the old people live in the police station. Since then, I have known the old gentleman, and therefore I have forged an indissoluble bond with the Korean family. I chatted with the old man very late. That day, I learned that the ruins of the ancient city in Sifang urban and rural areas were the private city of Han Kuangsi, a famous minister in Liao Dynasty (the military state under the head recorded in Liao history, also known as Quanzhou). On April 6th, when I mentioned the epitaph of Zi Ying Village River in Zhangjia, the old man became interested. He told me, "With or without it, we will try to salvage it into the river, and maybe we will find something new." . I said, "Yes, the village is not far from the police station. I will salvage it tomorrow."
This salvage doesn't matter. We found a shocking secret buried underground for thousands of years. ...
On the morning of April 27th, 1999, my colleague Jia and I called Guo, who lives in Yingjiayingzi Village, Biliutai Township, to the police station and asked him to take some people to the Zhangjiayingzi River to help salvage it and see if we could find the fragments of the epitaph.
Guo Dao: "Yes, it's hard to say whether you can get ten dollars a day." I boasted in front of Mr. Liu and agreed to his request. I bought them three bottles of red wine in the canteen in front of the township government and added ten liters of gasoline to let them set off. I stayed in the township government to accompany the elderly to the nearby mountains for an outing.
It was dark, and there was no news of Guo. The secretary of the township party Committee prepared a meal for Mr. Liu in the government canteen, and the township head Shen sat next to him. 1 1 in the afternoon, still no news. When the steward Shen saw that it was getting late, he asked Zhang Wei, the secretary, to take the electric mattress to Mr. Liu and put it on the bed to let his old man go to bed early. At that time, there was no closed-circuit television in Sifang urban and rural areas, and only one TV program could be watched. As soon as the TV stopped, everyone went back to their rooms to sleep.
At 5: 27 the next morning, I was awakened by a quick knock on the door. I opened the door and saw that it was Guo and his companions. They put some stones back in the fiber bag. It turned out that it took Guo and others more than half an hour to find the epitaph (someone must know it). Because it was too early, I was afraid of not giving them money, so I went home to drink. After drinking for a long time, I drank too much. Afraid that I would see through their tricks, I brought my baby to collect the reward early the next morning (I learned later).
When he found the epitaph, he quickly woke up the old gentleman and asked Guo to put the stone by the well in front of the township government meeting room. As soon as Mr. Liu heard that he had found the epitaph, he immediately went to the remains of the epitaph, cleaned it, frowned and asked Guo, "Are these the only pieces?" Guo immediately replied that there were still more than a dozen pieces in the river, so it was difficult to move out. The old man added, "You have to try again to catch them all." Some country prevaricated that there was no way to transport it back. At the right moment, Zhang Yugang, then director and office director of Bahrain Public Security Bureau, drove a Mitsubishi police car to visit Mr. Liu. Director Huang immediately asked the director to drive to Zhangjiacun to help Guo pull back all the remaining epitaph fragments. At noon 12, the epitaph is basically collected 15. There are 29 pieces left in the epitaph. In the process of washing, I was fortunate to listen to some true stories about the Liao Dynasty and the owner of the epitaph personally explained by Mr. Liu Lao. At this point, I just know that the original Sifang urban and rural areas are still buried with such a big secret!
The owner of the epitaph is the descendant of Han Kuang-si, the minister of Qin Dynasty in Liao Dynasty, alluding to Lu Ye Suizhong, the son of Han Chang, who was famous in the ballad Yang Jiajiang. Its discovery helped scholars of Liao history solve many mysteries of Liao history, on the one hand, it provided supporting materials, on the other hand, it restored the story of storyteller Yang Jiajiang.
The image of Han Chang comes from the story of Yang Jiajiang, a folk legend. The story of "Yang Jiajiang" took place during the confrontation between the Northern Song Dynasty and the Liao Dynasty. Out of admiration for the heroes who fought against the enemy, people created the heroic images of generations of Yang family through imagination and artistic exaggeration. After the Ming and Qing Dynasties, many plays about Yang Jiajiang appeared on the stage of traditional Chinese opera. Influenced by the orthodoxy of the Chinese nation, the contents of these novels and operas are quite different from history.
While spreading in the legend of heroes, there appeared a negative image, that is, Han's heroes of Liao country. In The Romance of Yang Jiajiang, Liao generals Han Derang and Han Yanshou appeared. In the late Ming and early Qing Dynasties, rappers gave Han Yanshou a single name, and at the same time, they added a new official position to Han Chang, the commander-in-chief of the Liao Dynasty. At this point, his negative image as an enemy general has been enriched.
It is a historical injustice to regard Han Chang as Yang Jiajiang's opponent in The Romance. The appearance of the epitaph in Suizhong, Lu Ye, restored the true face of history.
At the beginning of the epitaph, there are a few words: "My father was afraid of Chang's character, but he was afraid of Dechang's character, but he was gentle." He directly said that the master's father was called Han Chang. In fact, in the military history of Liao and Song Dynasties, Han Chang never had contact with Yang Jiajiang. The prototype of the "Battle of Youzhou" and "Bloody Battle of Golden Beach" described in The Romance of Yang Jiajiang is the "Battle of Sorghum" in history. Song Taizong was shot by random arrows from Liao soldiers, so he had to escape by donkey cart. Song Jun, who had no command, was defeated by Liao army. Since then, Han Derang has shocked the world.
The battle of "Yang Linggong Langya Valley" described in The Romance of Yang Jiajiang took place in the "Yongxi Northern Expedition" launched by Song Taizong in 986. At that time, Empress Dowager Chengtian and Emperor Shengzong of Liao led the Liao army to fight. Because Han Derang, the military commander, adopted the operational policy of clearing the field and luring the enemy in depth, the two sides launched a fierce battle at Qigou Pass. Han Derang's younger brother Han Dewei and the famous soldier Ye Lvxie set an ambush in Chenjiagu. Yang Yede was wounded and captured in midstream. He fasted for three days and died. Yang Yanyu, his son and all his Song soldiers were wiped out. During the war, Han Chang was still a child and didn't play any role.
In history, Yang Ye and his son did fight in secret and fought bloody battles, but Han Derang, Han Dewei and others. Therefore, Han Yanshou's artistic image is actually based on Han Derang, Han Dewei, Kang Yanshou and others.
Just as Liao history experts had just deciphered the epitaph of Yelu Zuizhong and prepared to write it into textual research, a question that puzzled experts appeared: another Chinese epitaph was found in Baiyinhan Mountain, Balinzuoqi. According to the unearthed epitaph, the owner of the epitaph is also Han Chang.
