What was Guangxi used to be called?

In the past, Guangxi was called Luoyue Ancient Country, Guilin County, Xiangjun County, Nanyue Country, and Guangxi Xingzhong Book Province.

Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, referred to as "Guangxi" for short, is a provincial administrative region of the People's Republic of China, with Nanning as its capital. It is located in southern China, bordering Guangdong in the east, Beibu Gulf in the south and facing Hainan across the sea, bordering Yunnan in the west, Hunan in the northeast, Guizhou in the northwest and Vietnam in the southwest. Guangxi has a land area of 237,6 square kilometers and a sea area of about 4, square kilometers.

Guangxi is located in the southeast edge of Yunnan-Guizhou Plateau, the second step of China terrain, in the west of Guangdong and Guangxi hills, with high terrain in the northwest and low terrain in the southeast, showing an inclination from northwest to southeast. The landform is generally composed of six categories: mountains, hills, terraces, plains, rocky mountains and water surfaces. Guangxi belongs to subtropical monsoon climate and tropical monsoon climate, which spans four major water systems: Pearl River, Yangtze River, Red River and Binhai.

Climate:

Guangxi is located at low latitude, with the Tropic of Cancer running through the central part, bordering tropical ocean in the south, Nanling Mountain in the north and Yunnan-Guizhou Plateau in the west, belonging to subtropical monsoon climate zone and tropical monsoon climate. The climate is warm, with abundant rain and plenty of sunshine. In summer, the sunshine time is long, the temperature is high and the precipitation is high, while in winter, the sunshine time is short and the weather is dry and warm.
