I know something about the situation in Liaoning Province, which is very touching. I took an investigation team to Fushun, Benxi, Chaoyang, Fuxin and other cities to do large-scale research to study how these cities were transformed. Many traditional industrial cities in the world, such as Manchester in Britain, Hamburg in Germany and Detroit in the United States, have experienced a very difficult transformation process for more than 30 years, and some even lasted for half a century. Liaoning province has to go through a particularly difficult process in terms of talent structure, resource allocation and institutional adjustment. And it can't be done in a day or two. After listening to director Fan Wenzhong's report just now, I feel that the problem of city and county records in Liaoning Province is not too big, and there may be some difficulties in provincial records. Regarding the number of provincial local chronicles, the situation in different provinces is not consistent, from 50? 60, as many as 200 in Shanghai. However, all localities have encountered the situation of planning adjustment, that is, with the institutional reform and adjustment and the development and changes of the industry, it is difficult to find a compilation unit for some local chronicles originally included in the planning, and it is difficult to complete the task, so the planning has to be adjusted. In the second round, there are 84 local records planning departments in Liaoning Province. The next step is to carefully study whether this planning figure needs to be adjusted. If adjustments are needed, they will be made in time to make the planning more realistic, and reported to the China Local Records Steering Group and the provincial government for the record as soon as possible. After the record is passed, it will be solidly promoted in accordance with the new plan.

At present, some counties (cities, districts) in Liaoning Province are under great financial pressure. However, this situation has changed a lot. At present, the party and government leaders in some places have changed frequently. When the new leader arrives, he wants to know the local situation through local chronicles first. Although statistical departments publish statistical summaries, they are often just tables and figures that most people can't understand. Local chroniclers can write some narratives, explanations and interpretations on the basis of statistical abstracts, and innovate the publishing methods, such as using WeChat official account. In this way, when relevant leaders introduce their work, they can present relevant information on their mobile phones with one click! In the future, we should focus on providing services for the work of local economic and social development centers and strengthen this sense of service.
