Spring is easier, because Monopterus albus has just hibernated for a winter and needs a lot of food to supplement it. A self-made steel wire hook is often used to catch eels. Take a steel wire with a length of about 60 cm and a diameter of 1~ 1.2mm, sharpen one end, and bend it into a hook shape according to the hook width and hook tip length of Yi Shi No.5 ~ 6 hook. Or slowly pull the hook back and forth to lure the eel to bite the hook. Generally, as long as there are eels in the cave, several trips to Doby will come for food. When the hand feels that the eel has bitten the hook, it should push the hook handle forward so as to put the hook into the fish mouth, then turn the hook handle to fasten the hook tip, and then slowly pull out the hook handle.
