Summer Prose in Northern Shaanxi

Summer, no matter where the summer is, people always think of the word "hot", but the summer in northern Shaanxi has its unique charm, bright, comfortable, refreshing and unforgettable.

After several thunderous storms, the earth seems to be crazy, and all the stagnant energy broke out. In a blink of an eye, lush green has covered hillsides and fields. The sunshine is warm, the rain is abundant, the vegetation is endless, and the green fruits are more and more abundant among the green leaves, especially after the baptism of rain, bright and full, hidden among the dense leaves, like a lovely baby in a cradle.

The climate in northern Shaanxi has four distinct seasons, and summer just takes up a quarter of the year. Unlike Xi 'an's summer, it is long and warm. Thunderstorm is a major feature of summer in northern Shaanxi. When the sun is shining, you will suddenly hear a noisy sound on the horizon. If you are not familiar with northern Shaanxi, you will think that it is not thunder, because the weather is too quiet and peaceful, but at the moment of seeking fame, you will find a faint cloud floating in the wind on the horizon, followed by a loud noise and lightning. You can clearly confirm that it is thunder. Looking up, it was still bright. It doesn't look like rain at all, but after a few seconds, you look up and see that the clouds have turned black just now, and many dark clouds have been born out of thin air. Lightning flashed across the sky again, and huge thunder followed. In an instant, the wind was blowing hard, and a cool feeling came from the horizon. Dark clouds accumulated and moved rapidly in the strong wind, and the treetops shook hard. Then, rain drops as big as peas fell from the sky, and soil was everywhere. Blink of an eye, the rain has filled the whole sky, suddenly a dazzling lightning flashed across the hill, followed by a loud thunder. The whole world is filled with a rain curtain, a lively world of water. Soon, you will hear the sound of floods in the valley. Through the rain curtain, you can vaguely see the rapid and dirty rain on the opposite hillside. At this time, all activities seem to have stopped, and the thunderstorm takes the lead and nourishes it unscrupulously. But such thunderstorms often come suddenly and go in a hurry, and stop when you say it, and return you a sunny day in an instant. The sunshine lifted the veil and revealed a bright smiling face, vividly capturing a new beauty of bath.

There are many thunderstorms and few rainy days in summer in northern Shaanxi. It is so crisp and neat, never procrastinating, just like the girls raised in this thick soil, bold and upright, passionate and unrestrained. A song "Pilgrim's Progress" sings half of China's waist and drum reputation, which is a household name and attracts many literary lovers to imitate and learn, but it is easy for a native of northern Shaanxi. Just like this thunderstorm, it is a rare VIP for Xi 'an, but in the summer of northern Shaanxi, it is a common occurrence, and people will visit it at any time.

Some people say that northern Shaanxi is too poor and people in northern Shaanxi are too ignorant, but I think northern Shaanxi is very rich and people in northern Shaanxi are very bold and smart. After the baptism of the Long March, the Red Army was able to recuperate under the protection of the cradle of northern Shaanxi. After ten years of birth and reunion, it developed rapidly and finally crossed the Yellow River and seized the world. The China Revolution started from the south and was full of the spirit of the Yangtze River. It is in the rich and vast northern Shaanxi that the real foothold is enough to lay the foundation for the world. The summer in Xi 'an is long and warm, with a little more silence, which is far less bright, bold and intense than that in northern Shaanxi, full of delicacy and unforgettable. If I can, I would like to stay in my childhood memory forever and enjoy that unique comfort.
