A simple introduction to free travel in Kuala Lumpur and Sabah on the 9 th
Six-day tour in Sabah, just came back yesterday.
The best island is Mermaid Island, which is really worth visiting. The scenery is not ordinary beauty. If possible, it is best to spend a day on the island. Mermaid Island has a limit on the number of people going to the island, so it is more comfortable to play, and you can snorkel in the morning and afternoon. Going out to sea by boat depends on the weather. If the weather is bad, dolphins can be seen in 30 minutes. If there are waves, it will take 45 minutes to 1 hour, and motion sickness is more troublesome. This scenic spot was booked earlier, so I can't go the next day after applying.
We have been to Tengku Aduraman National Park (Mamudi Island) before, and there are also many sea amusement projects. It is said that it can accommodate 200 people at ordinary times. On that day, 1800 people went, and many projects were not fun.
Free travel is completely fine. Sign up for a one-day tour at a local travel agency, led by a local Chinese tour guide. Our group has two days of free travel. We just found a local travel agency and went to two scenic spots, both of which were delivered to the hotel. The local folk customs are simple, and we don't collect money until we finish. Hmm. How interesting
Proboscis monkeys and fireflies, well, I really don't catch a cold. The monkey is far away in the tree and can't see clearly. Fireflies can only look, not take pictures. A little, in the tree, it feels like a Christmas tree. This is a long trip and a long bus trip.
One-day tour of the island includes afternoon tea and buffet. Not hungry, but if you want to eat well, you have to look for it in the city.
The hotel can be chosen in downtown Kota Kinabalu, and it is convenient to go anywhere. It is also very convenient to eat. However, the local food and beverage in Sabah is like this. It opens at 7: 30 in the morning and closes after 2: 00. Where you can have dinner, it doesn't open until after 2 pm and closes at 1 1 in the evening.
I feel that their life is so slow.
The local buttered tiger shrimp is very famous. Every two days, the big eggplant (Nian Jia) comes once. It is in the city all night and is very close.
Baku-bone tea is also good. You can try. The local tea is Sabah tea, not black tea, so-so.
The best drink is local orange ice, 2 ringgit a cup.
The best popsicle is durian-flavored popsicle, also RM 2.
Coconut RM 5, just so-so, not as good as orange ice.
Many shops, such as bakeries, have happy hours, usually with a 40% discount after 5 pm.
In Sabah, the most common is flip-flops, a pair of flip-flops, which can travel around the world.
English is still the main local language, especially in hotels.
Visa and MasterCard can be used locally, but few people support China UnionPay. The RMB is not circulated, but the US dollar is circulated. All major local shopping malls have places to exchange Malaysian ringgit. When we were here two days ago, it was 4.7, and the tour guide can change it to 4.5. We changed it at the Bank of China before our group came out. It is 4.9.
When I came back, the security check was very loose, and the group members even brought a large bottle of seaplane.
PS: Prepare sunscreen repair cream. The sun is very strong. Take a coat, too. The tour bus is fully air-conditioned. Some islands need to bring their own bath towels, which can be borrowed from hotels. It's free. If you rent it on the island, it costs RM 5.
That's all. I didn't expect anything else.
