Investigation evidence of Kobe Eagle County incident

The police chief's office in Eagle County said in a statement that an unidentified woman complained to the police that Kobe had sexually assaulted her in a hotel in Edwards, Eagle County the night before (the night of June 30, local time). Several investigators of the local police conducted a three-day investigation into the allegations and collected a series of evidence, including witness evidence. In the end, the investigators decided that there was enough evidence to sue Kobe for alleged sexual assault. Subsequently, a local prosecutor issued an arrest warrant to Kobe.

After receiving the order, Kobe Bryant went to Eagle County Police Station last Friday to conduct a detailed investigation. According to the report of the police chief's office, Kobe performed very well. Police also said that Bryant had not been formally arraigned.

The police refused to provide more details about the case. Iger county prosecutor Hulbeyat revealed that the police have sealed Kobe's arrest documents because of special circumstances and the protection of the victims.

According to an employee of the hotel, Kobe was going to entertain a friend at the hotel that night, but he was not sure whether it was a man or a woman. Bryant's lawyer, McKee, said that Bryant plans to have surgery on his right knee in Colorado, which will be performed by Richard steadman, an expert in the Weill area. After arriving in Edwards last Monday, local time, Kobe originally planned to have surgery the next day and return to Los Angeles on Wednesday.

If the police decide to formally charge Kobe Bryant, the case will be tried according to the laws of Colorado. According to Colorado law, the interpretation of felony sexual assault is quite broad, from physical contact to final rape.

Kobe was acquitted because of insufficient police evidence.
