Where is Oujiang River?

Oujiang River is in the south of Zhejiang. Zhejiang, referred to as "Zhejiang" for short, is a provincial administrative region of People's Republic of China (PRC), with Hangzhou as its capital, located on the southeast coast of China. It spans eight water systems, namely Qiantang River, Oujiang River, Lingjiang River, Shao Xi River, Yongjiang River, Feiyun River, Aojiang River and Caoejiang River, and consists of plains, hills, basins, mountains and islands.

Oujiang River is the only river in the East China Sea of China and the second largest river in Zhejiang. Historically known as Yongning River, Yongjia River, Wenjiang and Jiang Shen. Originated at the tip of the pot cover at the northwest foot of baishanzu at the junction of Longquan City and qingyuan county, it runs through the whole mountainous area of southern Zhejiang from west to east and flows through Lishui, Wenzhou and other cities. The total length of the main stream is 388 kilometers, with a drainage area of 18028 square kilometers. It flows from Wenzhou City into Wenzhou Bay in the East China Sea.

The main stream of Oujiang River is divided into Longquan River, Daxi River and Oujiang River from the source to the estuary. Longquan Creek originated in the northwest foot of the pot cover head in Qingyuan Town, with Meixi as the mainstream. Meixi and Qingxi meet at the head of Huangnan Village before they are called Longquan Stream, which flows eastward through tea fields, Lan Ju and Long Yuan towns in Longquan City.

Longquan Creek, called Daxi after Huisong Yinxi, turns northeast and flows from Xikeng to the right bank; Flowing to the port, Xuanpingxi flows out from the left bank, turning northeast to Minhe River, Xiaoxi flows out from the left bank, flows eastward through Lishui City, flows eastward to Xiahe and Gucheng, and Haoxi flows out from the left bank, turns southeast and flows into Qingtian territory.

After the Daxi River joins a small stream, it is called Oujiang River and flows to the southeast. Shitouxi and Sidu Port are injected from the right bank, continue to flow eastward and turn north. The source of Gui 'ao flows from the left bank, turns north through Wenxi Town, and then turns east into Yongjia and Ouhai. Mushroom River flows from the left bank and then flows eastward, Xixi flows from the left bank and turns southeast, and Pujiang flows from the right bank and turns southeast.

The stream, the largest tributary of the Oujiang River, joins the Daxi River in Xishi Village, qingtian county. The mainstream of the stream source is called Nanyang Stream, which originated at the foot of Mao Feng Mountain in Qingyuan County. Fengtanyang joins Zuoxi from the right bank and flows northward into Jingning, which is called Maoyangxi.
