How to completely eliminate carpet pollution

Carpet is one of the traditional handicrafts in China, which has a history of more than two thousand years! In ancient times, carpets were only used to lay the floor to keep out the cold. With the rich development of society, carpet has become a necessary item for decoration in modern society with its unique noble, gorgeous and beautiful characteristics. But the fly in the ointment is that many carpets now contain a lot of pollutants, which have an impact on the indoor air health of people's living and working environment.

Carpets are generally decorative articles made of natural fibers or synthetic fibers such as cotton, hemp and wool by hand or mechanical processing. Widely exists in family homes, hotels, offices, conference rooms, clubs, teahouses, cars, airplanes and other indoor environments. Now people are familiar with chemical fiber carpets (also known as synthetic fiber carpets, mostly made of nylon, polypropylene, acrylic fiber and other fiber raw materials) and wool carpets. Paving methods include laying directly on the ground, fixing it on the ground with carpet glue, leveling the ground with artificial board first, and then sticking the carpet on it with adhesive.

In the process of making wool carpet, it is necessary to use various organic solvents for cleaning, setting and deodorizing. These organic solvents will remain in the carpet, constantly volatilize and release toxic and harmful pollutants into the air, causing harm to people in the indoor environment. The backing material of chemical fiber carpet and the carpet glue used in the paving process contain many pollutants, which will release formaldehyde, acetaldehyde, benzene series and VOC pollutants such as styrene, propylene and acrylonitrile into the air during use. In addition, the carpet has a strong adsorption capacity, which will adsorb many toxic and harmful gas pollutants in the air, such as formaldehyde and benzene series, and dust virus microorganisms will also exist in it. When the concentration of pollutants in the air is greater than that in the carpet, the carpet will continue to adsorb until it is saturated. When the concentration of pollutants in the air is less than that in the carpet, the carpet will release pollutants to aggravate the pollution.

Engineers believe that the focus of carpet treatment is odor pollution such as formaldehyde and benzene series, and products such as wooden boy catalyst purification factor can be selected for treatment. The details are briefly described as follows:

1. For the carpeting that has been paved, it is recommended to use a vacuum cleaner to clean the dust on the carpeting before treatment;

2. For carpets made of natural animal and plant fibers such as wool, engineer Mu Tong suggested using catalyst purification factor I, focusing on removing odor and a small amount of pollution such as formaldehyde, benzene series and TVOC. For chemical fiber carpets, it is suggested to use Mu Tong catalyst purification factor II to remove toxic and harmful pollutants such as formaldehyde, benzene series and TVOC.

3. The use of wooden boy catalyst purification factor for carpet treatment is very simple. Use the standard small watering can in the product packaging box, pour a proper amount of product and screw it on the nozzle, rotate the nozzle valve to a good atomization state, and directly spray the product evenly and properly on the carpet surface. When the carpet is seriously polluted, the spraying times of 1-3 times can be increased according to the pollution degree and odor size to achieve better control effect.

4. Carpets should be well ventilated after being treated by Mu Tong's catalyst purification factor, so as to facilitate the degradation and volatilization of pollutants.

Consumers need to be reminded that in order to avoid mildew on the carpet when spraying therapeutic products by themselves, it is suggested that the spraying amount should not be too large, only 20-30 ml per square meter. In addition, don't use it in rainy days or when the humidity is too high, so as not to breed mold.
