Designed by British designer w.s.atkins, it looks like a sail full of wind. There are 56 floors, with a height of 32 1 m. It is the tallest hotel in the world, higher than the Eiffel Tower in France.

The owner of this hotel is Murray &; Robers) Company and Habtoor Engineering Enterprises L.L.C., a local large-scale construction contractor in the United Arab Emirates, spent five years before and after, including two and a half years to fill the artificial islands in the Arabian Sea and two and a half years to build the building itself. 9000 tons of steel was used in the project, which achieved the feat of driving 250 capital construction piles under 40 meters deep sea.
