What's wrong with Mabangyong in the holy lake of Ali? What attractions are there?

Yongcuo in Mabian, also known as Manassavar Lake (meaning the lake born of providence), is vast, quiet and clear. It is a sacred lake recognized by many religions in the world and one of the most famous lakes in Asia and even in the world. In many ancient scriptures, it is called the king of the holy lake. Mapan Yingcuo Lake, located 3 kilometers southeast of Gangrenboqi, is one of the highest freshwater lakes in the world with an area of more than 4 square kilometers, with an altitude of 4,588 meters. Early Christians called it Ma Chuicuo, and it is said that many treasures were gathered at the bottom of the lake. Ma Yongcuo was named after a religious war on this lake in the 11th century, which means invincible lake in Tibetan.

After the struggle between the Kagyu Sect of Tibetan Buddhism and Bonism gradually won, the name of Ma Tucuo, which has been used for many centuries, was changed to Ma Bian Yong Cuo, that is, the Jasper Lake that will never be defeated. There are many Buddhist temples along the lake, including 8. Xuanzang, a monk in the Tang Dynasty, said in the Buddhist scriptures of Tianzhu (Biography of the Western Regions of Datang) that this lake is the place where Yaochi, the mother of the Western Heavenly King, is located. There are four bathing doors in the lake: Lotus Gate in the east, Dirty Bath Gate in the west, Sweet Gate in the south and Faith Gate in the north. Traditionally, it is the greatest blessing for pilgrims to come to this lake to take a bath. Buddhists believe that Ma Bian Yong Cuo is the supreme nectar given to mankind by the Great Sage of Music.

Purifying the body with this lake can clear away all kinds of troubles, delusions and sins of the mind. Drinking this lake can eliminate all diseases and keep fit. Pilgrims turn around the lake, and their merits are boundless. Besides being of great significance to pilgrims, as the king of the holy lake, Mabian Yongcuo is also a good place for ordinary tourists not to miss. Not to mention the myths and legends that have been passed down through the ages, its extraordinary beauty alone is enough to fascinate everyone who has traveled along the way. In Indian mythology, Yongcuo Mabian was formed by Brahma, a great god, because his son needed a place to take a bath after ascetic in the mountains. So Hindus usually bathe in the lake on their way to the lake, while Tibetans usually just walk or kowtow to the mountains and don't go into the water.

For travelers, although the lake is very cold in the warmest time and the wind around the lake is very strong, many people still want to take this opportunity to clear the wind and frost of life and their inner anxiety, so they can often see some naked guys running to the lake at a fast speed and then rushing back at a faster speed. Many books and classics describe the water in Yongcuo, Mabian as a pearl, which can wash away the sins of the ages.

Almost all Tibetans will also praise the water in Yongcuo, Mabian as sweet. Try it, it's a little sweet, but don't really think that the water in the holy lake can be drunk without disinfection. No matter how sacred the water in the holy lake sounds, the price of drinking casually is to flush the toilet again and again. If the traffic comes from Hall District, you must pass through Baja first, and then turn south. The whole journey is about 6 kilometers. The flat and open Baga grassland is difficult to walk even on foot, no matter how far or near.

it's not difficult to wait in the lobby during the rush hour. Generally, you go to Lhasa by truck, about 4 per person, and to Shiquan River, 1. But it will be very troublesome in the non-tourist season. You may have to wait a few days and leave here station by station. From the direction of Shenshan Mountain, if jeep is not included, you can only get a ride at Tachin or Baga checkpoint. If you are lucky in the tourist season, it should not be difficult. There is usually a border post in Baga to check the border pass.

Wu Ji Temple in the northwest corner of Mayongcuo is the main turning point of Mayongcuo. However, there is still some distance from the holy lake in Hall District. Generally speaking, when tourists come here, they will take a small village near Wu Ji Temple as their foothold. It is located 3 kilometers southeast of Daqin. In other words, the village at the foot of Wu Si Temple is the only way to Pulan Highway. There are two hotels run by unknown Tibetans, each of which charges 2 yuan. There is no electricity, so water should be pumped from the water tank.

This village consists of 1 bakeries, and there is no restaurant. Vegetarian dishes and white rice are served in the hotel, and each meal in 1 yuan requires reservation. It is suggested that you bring your own dry food or instant noodles, and you can cook it yourself. There is also a Shenhu Hotel by the lake 2 kilometers south of Wu Ji Temple. Accommodation conditions are similar to those of Wu Ji Temple. You can also live in the barracks of the frontier armed police force. The sanitary conditions are good. Water can be used in water tanks, every 15 yuan.

You can eat it in the army kitchen, but the price is more expensive. A bowl of noodles is 1 yuan. Wu Si, Wu Si is a small temple built on a mountain near the lake. It is said that Lian Huasheng once meditated in a cave in the temple. Although the scale is relatively small, there are only a few Tibetan Buddhist houses on the hillside, but its architectural layout is exactly the same as that of Potala Palace. If you don't turn to the lake, you can climb to the hillside of Wu Ji Temple and overlook the whole blue holy lake, which is the best place to watch the Yongcuo beside the holy lake. You can also go to the lake to see unknown migratory birds, and occasionally come face to face with pious people who walk around the lake. That is, there is a natural hot spring next to Wu Si Village, a hot spring. The locals transformed it into an open-air bathroom for people to bathe in.

therefore, the valley always smells of sulfur. The accommodation in Shenshan area is simple and there is no condition for bathing, but you can take a good bath here for 1 yuan. But to be honest, it's painful to take a bath at such a high altitude. It takes about 9 kilometers to turn to the holy lake, and it takes 4 days to turn to the lake. Usually clockwise. Two-thirds of the road along the way (clockwise from Seralon Temple to Qiugongba) is close to the lakeshore, and the road to the north passes through Hall Township.

this road can be run by car, and the beach, gravel and swamp alternate. There are several rivers in the southeast of the lake that flow into Yongcuo, Mabian, and need to wade across the river. To bring your own food, there are temples to stay along the way, but the conditions are extremely simple. Although hiking along the lake is not as difficult as going up and down the mountain, it is mostly soft and sandy, and it is also very laborious to go straight. It is especially difficult to face the challenge of streams along the Hunan coast. When you meet a river and stream on the road, you can only wade through it. There is no other way. No matter pilgrims or tourists, there are not as many people around the lake as around the mountains. Although the scenery along the way is beautiful, it lacks change, and even the beautiful scenery will be boring for hours. If it is rainy season, several small rivers on the road will also cause a lot of trouble.

most travelers just stay in yiwu temple for a few days, soak in hot springs and enjoy the lakes and mountains. There is no rule where the lake turns, just complete a closed circle clockwise. Because of the convenient transportation, most people start from the Wu Temple in the northwest corner of the holy lake. If you are just traveling, you can also start from Wu Ji Temple and turn counterclockwise to Hall via Chugu Temple and Selelong Temple. In this way, we not only enjoyed the beautiful scenery of the holy lake, but also visited the main places of interest, met many pilgrims head-on and made many good movies. The route is from Wu Ji Temple to the main hall on the first day (7.5 hours), from the main hall to Selelong Temple on the second day (3 hours), from Selelong Temple to Chugu Temple on the third day (7 hours) and from Chugu Temple to Wu Ji Temple on the fourth day (9 hours).

In other words, the road from Wu Si Temple to the main hall is not difficult, but there is a way to leave the lakeshore and walk on the mountain. At the beginning, there were some abandoned caves on the cliff, which have been places for pilgrims to practice for centuries, and now some of them have become private houses. A third of the way, you will pass the famous Lambona Temple. On the way from Lambona Temple to Hall, you have to pass through a large swamp. You must walk along the edge of the swamp in the north.

Hall is a central market town nearby. There are several shops where you can buy instant noodles, beer and some necessities. You can stay in the local humble guest house, 2 yuan/Bed, but you'd better stay in the local armed police barracks. Turn clockwise from the lobby, and then go due south. Don't be too close to the lake. After walking on the soft swamp road for 2 hours, I have to cross a bridge, and then the next place to live is Sellon Temple. This area is full of soft sand roads. The temples are still being rebuilt. There are several nearby, no shops and no guest houses. There is no tent to spend the night, but most local residents can't understand it, but they are also very pleased to see the clear lake all the time. The legend of the holy mountain and the holy lake has become a reality in Chugu Temple.

the holy lake is far from the holy mountain. Standing here in Chugu Temple, you can enjoy the beautiful scenery. Chugu Temple is the only one belonging to the Gelug Sect in this area, named after it is an important place for holding bathing ceremonies. Chugu means washing your hair. Every August, on the full moon, many Nepalese brahmins set out from Telai, Nepal, crossed the Himalayas along the ancient road and came here to chant and pray, and then rushed into the cold water naked, which is really admirable. There are two rows of houses in front of the temple, which can accommodate about 4 people, 3 yuan/bed. The conditions are not bad. Take care of yourself, except the bed where you sleep. There are rotten weeds floating in the lake around the temple, and it takes a long way to get water.

Most of the people who live there are Indian pilgrims, barefoot or wearing slippers, carrying a stainless steel bucket and wrapped in some cloth. If you take the road from Daqin to Pulan, there is a fork in the road where you can take a bus. From the Chugu Temple, you can see the Gottsukgon Temple at the other end of the lake shore arc from a distance, and then there is a long sand road, which seems to have no end forever. There are still five hours' walk from Chugu Temple to Gottsukgon Temple, and several rivers formed by snow water from Nishan Mountain in Mu Na pour into Yongcuo, Mabian. When there is little water, it doesn't reach the ankle. But in the rainy season, when a person walks hard, it will become rough and even reach the waist. Goutsuk Gon Temple has three lamas, built on a small cliff.

they are very enthusiastic. The wall of a warehouse in the temple is inlaid with stone carvings of 1 Buddha statues. The platform at the top of the temple is an excellent place to enjoy the beautiful scenery of the holy lake. From here, Yongcuo Mabian looks like a huge sapphire, which is fascinating. There are always many pilgrims camping in several caves nearby. Moving on is the best place to see the majestic Namanyi Mountain (also known as Gula Datura, 7728 meters).

Buddhism believes that this is the place where Saraswati, the goddess of wisdom, lived in Tin. You can watch it happily all day, then get to Qiugongba before dark, take a hot spring bath, and then decide how to leave here: Lhasa in the west, Shenshan and Shiquan River in the north, and Pulan in the south.
