Brief introduction of anti-British hero Wang Xipeng How did Wang Xipeng die?
In the 13th year of Jiaqing, Wang Xipeng was admitted to five high schools. In nineteen years, he entered Beijing as a second-class official of the Ministry of War, and in twenty-four years, he served as a garrison. In the first year of Daoguang, he fought a guerrilla war in Guyuan City, Shaanxi Province.
Daoguang six years, Zhang Geer, Uighur, Xinjiang, launched the Miao uprising. At that time, Wang Xipeng, who joined the Qingyang camp in Shaanxi, followed Yang Yuchun, governor of Shaanxi and Gansu, to suppress the rebellion.
Because Wang Xipeng fought bravely in this battle and made great contributions, his class teacher rewarded him after returning to North Korea. The court ordered Dai Hualing to promote Wang Xipeng to join Hunan Linwu camp.
In the 12th year of Daoguang, Yao Uprising broke out in Hunan due to local taxes. Wang Xipeng was ordered to rally with the prefect Luo and fight all the way to Hunan and Guangdong. After the incident, I was awarded the title of Ruiyong Batulu and was promoted to the position of Assistant Director-General of Baoqing Association.
Wang Xipeng managed the soldiers well and shared weal and woe with them. There was a heavy rain in the process of suppressing the uprising of the Yao people. When the fart soldier has no umbrella, find someone to use it with him. These similar actions moved the soldiers very much. Therefore, Wang Xipeng's soldiers are willing to work for him, and every battle is extremely brave.
In the 13th year of Daoguang, Wang Xipeng was appointed as the company commander of Tingzhou Town, Fujian Province. In sixteen years, because of his father's death, he went back to his hometown to mourn. In the eighteenth year of Daoguang, he served as the company commander of Shouchun Town, Anhui Province.
Twenty years later, Britain launched a war against China. Wang Xipeng was transferred to Wusong to cooperate with Jiangnan prefect Chen Huacheng to defend Wusong fortress. In the battle, two British ships, large and small, were shelled. Later, the Shouchun soldiers he personally trained were famous for their bravery and good fighting skills. For months, the British people dared not peek at them.
In the Battle of Dinghai, Wang Xipeng and Zhang Youjun fought side by side and cooperated closely. Later, the boss asked him to leave Dinghai. After hearing the news of the British invasion of Xiamen at the farewell party, he resolutely decided to stay and fight against the British.
During the battle, Wang Xipeng always volunteered to go to the most dangerous place. Moreover, the heavy firearms were handed over to Ge and Zheng, leaving only some light firearms, spears and broadswords.
It is such a problem that people who are good at fighting, loyal and flesh-and-blood can't beat British ships and guns. The battle of Dinghai was finally defeated by the British because it was outnumbered. After his death, the British army found his body and hacked him to death until he was bloody and unrecognizable.
Wang Xipeng died miserably, and his body was incomplete and difficult to find. Deeply moved by the news, Daoguang wrote a eulogy for him and gave it to Jietou posthumously.
