Does the second person need the first person to get the room card when checking in?

No need. If one person stays in a hotel, the second person still needs to register with an ID card. A room card is an ic card used to open the door when staying in a hotel. Room cards are divided into master cards, foreman cards, floor cards and guest cards. If the room card is lost or damaged, it should be reported to the hotel immediately and corresponding measures should be taken (degaussing and reissue). The front desk should have a replacement record to avoid the loss of the hotel.
