The Historical Evolution of Guangzhou White Swan Hotel

Guangzhou White Swan Hotel is the first Sino-foreign cooperative five-star hotel in China and the first large-scale modern hotel designed, built and managed by China people in China.

1985 was accepted as the first member of China by world-class hotel organizations;

1990 was rated as one of the first three five-star hotels in China by the National Tourism Administration;

From 65438 to 0996, it ranked first in the top 50 hotels in China organized by the National Tourism Administration, and was rated as the first choice hotel for international business people to visit Guangzhou by international travel guides and internationally renowned magazines and newspapers for many years. Since its opening more than 20 years ago, White Swan Hotel has received heads of state and government from more than 40 countries. British Queen Elizabeth II, American President Bush, Nixon, German Chancellor Kohl, Castro, Kissinger, Sihanouk, Lee Kuan Yew and other international celebrities have all stopped here. Deng Xiaoping, the chief architect of China's reform and opening up, visited the "White Swan" three times and wrote an inscription, which is unique among high-star hotels at home and abroad.

In order to improve the parking environment and facilities of the hotel in an all-round way, White Swan Hotel is scheduled to close its rooms and upgrade on September 20th116th. Hotel catering, entertainment, shopping malls and cars will continue to operate.
