3. How to identify whether a pinhole camera is installed?

Pinhole cameras mainly rely on infrared rays to capture images at night. Of course, if there is enough light in the room, the image will be clearer. If there is no light at night, a camera without infrared function can't capture the picture, just like a mobile phone without a fill light (flash), it is a mass of black.

Here's how to check the pinhole camera:

1, mobile phone photo method

Turn on the camera function of the mobile phone. Please note that some mobile phone cameras can filter infrared rays, so they cannot be checked. Never mind, continue to look at the other methods below. )

Turn off the lights in the room, close the curtains and leave the room in a dark state without any light. The darker the grid, the better!

Then turn on the camera function of the mobile phone, walk around the room, remember not to flash, and check the dead corner of the room, ceiling, TV, air conditioning and other places where pinhole cameras may be installed. If there is a pinhole camera, you will see a red dot on your mobile phone. The red dot is a camera. (as shown in the figure below)

Few mobile phones on the market are infrared filtered, so they can't be checked. This method is only effective for pinhole cameras with infrared function.

2. Power off method

Because stealth cameras need to work for a long time, they generally don't need battery power. So the power supply is the indispensable fox tail of the camera. Cameras usually need to pull a power cord in a hidden place or be installed in electrical appliances, which is limited by the power-off law.

In order to avoid sneak shots, we can choose to turn off the main power supply of the room before going to bed, so it is difficult for the pinhole camera to continue working without electricity.
