1 Kyoto hotel courtyard
This house located in Wuwutiao, Maru District, Kyoto has a history of more than 65,438+000 years. This is a traditional wooden house with a good main skeleton. After renovation, it produced a mixed-race building combining old and new.
Different from B&B, it also provides a small museum-style cultural exhibition experience space, hence the name "Heting".
A tunnel-like pure modern space is inserted into the facade as the main entrance, extending out of the street and entering the deep courtyard through the mother house, so that people can see the landscape of the deep courtyard when walking on the street.
This tunnel not only connects the B&B and the teahouse courtyard, but also serves as an exhibition hall to display and collect all kinds of old Japanese articles.
In order to meet the new demand, the designer rearranged the internal space of the mother house, modified the direction of the stairs and made new stairs without destroying the original structure, and added modern bathroom space on the first and second floors to ensure the comfort of the experience.
When using the space under the stairs as a drawer, the removed old house boards are reused as drawer boards, which reflects the historical feelings of the house.
The landscape of the courtyard is designed with the stone and stone cylinder in the 1970 s as the center, and the original maple trees in the courtyard are preserved. At the same time, modern and traditional landscaping grammar are combined to create a courtyard that looks like Japanese and has a little modern feeling.
It is very interesting to see the coexistence of old wood structure and new wood as furniture partition in every space.
2 Synergistic effect of fashion
The owner of the house is a young couple. The designer draws inspiration from the structure of the traditional house and blends it perfectly with the surrounding landscape, overlooking the beautiful mountains in the distance, so it is called a "house with landscape".
The overall design of the house is open, the interior is bright and full of light, and the traditional outline and modern elements are warm in color.
The indoor space is dominated by log white, which is simple and comfortable, and the indoor partition completely disappears. Whether you are in the living room or the study, the beautiful scenery is in front of you.
The ceiling of the living room forms a soft curve, deliberately creating a feeling surrounded by security.
Although each room is connected into a simple and huge whole space, they all have their own indoor style, avoiding the feeling of sameness.
The unique wooden L-shaped deck is connected with the outside world. Glass doors and windows bring the beautiful scenery of distant mountains indoors and feel the wonder of nature at all times.
The change of mountain colors shows people the seasons, and this hut continues to accompany nature and become a part of the changing landscape around it.
3 Hiiragi's house
Hiiragi's home is in Ehime Prefecture, Japan, and there is a sweet-scented osmanthus planted and cultivated for generations in the yard.
In order to ensure that every room can see the trees in the central courtyard, a U-shaped residential building is designed, and people can see the courtyard scenery anywhere in the house.
The living room is the most used place for family daily activities, and the space design creates a "soft" feeling through warm wooden details.
Japanese tatami room as a guest room, designers use as few materials as possible to keep a simple shape, so as to attract people's attention to the niche on the right and see the green outside the window.
The entrance of the house leads to a simple corridor, and the large window can see the scenery in the yard. The floor-to-ceiling windows of the double bedroom can also share the beautiful courtyard landscape, and the built-in sliding door can directly lead to the outdoor terrace.
Materials used for building surfaces include solid wood, diatom mud, Japanese papyrus and wallpaper made of tree fibers. By using natural materials, a healthy, natural and comfortable environment has been created.
4 Changbin Home
Elegant Japanese furniture and quiet courtyard combine to form a unique and comfortable Japanese living space. The design concept is to use local materials to create a home space that is integrated with nature and local environment.
Left: Below the washbasin is a black granite slab. Chinese: In order to reduce the brightness, small windows and narrow corridors are specially designed. Right: The traditional Japanese front yard extends all the way to the entrance of the house.
Five Japanese houses with gardens and unique roofs
The project is located in Hamamatsu, a coastal city on the south side of central Japan, with a warm and comfortable local climate. The house is an extension of an old house built in 1983, but they are not connected. The design does not emphasize the contrast between old and new buildings, but aims to integrate the two houses.
The linear volume of the building extends in the east-west direction, and three blocks form activity spaces such as gardens and terraces. The roof of the new building echoes the old building, showing the continuity between the old and the new.
The building contains wood structure elements common in Japanese houses, which are used for furniture and storage units, beams and columns and roofs.
There are sliding doors and windows between the furniture, which can be completely opened to connect the indoor space with the old residence.
The project perfectly embodies the new relationship between indoor and outdoor, new and old.
