Brief introduction of Chicheng town

Chicheng Town is located on the Xi Zhi River in Pengxi County, Sichuan Province, at the foot of Lion Mountain. Since the establishment of the county in the Tang Dynasty, it has been the seat of county administration and the economic, cultural and political center of the county. Qing Daoguang 1950 was named Chengxiang Town, and in 198 1 year it was renamed Chengguan Town and merged with Yuquan Township. 1September, 1992, the district was withdrawn to build a township, and the upper reaches, Xihua, Fuxi and Beixiang under the jurisdiction of the cultural district were merged. The town has 35,556 mu of arable land, 3 1845 households and a total population of 90,233.
