How about the Navy Donghai Hotel?

Sit on the sofa first. This is a rather old guest house. It was once called Donghai Navy Guest House, or Zhao Hai for short, and later it was renamed Donghai Hotel. The location is on Ning Road in Beihai, a very inconspicuous alley, only 100 meters in front and behind. Last time I took a taxi from Hongqiao Airport to Zhao Hai, even the taxi driver didn't know there was such a road in Shanghai. In fact, it is at the intersection of Haining Road and Zhapu Road, surrounded by restaurants, and it is very convenient to eat. I'm still used to calling it Zhao Hai. The entrance is a dark alley on Ning Road in Beihai, facing a historic building (which seems to be a dental clinic). Only by bypassing this ancient building can you see the buildings in Zhao Hai. Hey, the hidden work is done in place, haha. The eighth floor of Zhao Hai Building is a few years old, but the standard room is spacious enough, with an area of about 65,438+0.5 times that of an ordinary hotel. The hardware facilities are decorated in the 1990s. They are a bit old and have not been decorated, but after all, they are military units, and their rooms are relatively clean and quiet at night. And the noise of cars on Haining Road and Wusong Road can't be heard. I think such a cost-effective hotel should be out of print in Shanghai today.
