It grows well in warm and humid climate conditions and has strong cold resistance. It likes moist, loose and fertile soil and is not intolerant to salt and alkali.

Maintenance method:

1. Pot soil: generally use culture soil mixed with leaf mold soil, garden soil and sand. Change the pot every 1 to 2 years; before planting, Put decomposed organic fertilizer on the bottom of the pot as base fertilizer, water it once after planting, and place it in a cool place.

2. Temperature: The suitable growth temperature of ivy is 18~20°C. It will stop growing when the temperature exceeds 35°C, so it should be placed in a cool place to avoid heat and sun protection in summer; it has good cold resistance. Generally, it can survive the winter better if kept indoors.

3. Light: Give it 3 to 4 hours of sunlight every day. It cannot be placed in the dark for a long time, otherwise it will grow poorly.

4. Moisture: Ivy likes a humid environment. The soil should be kept moist during the growth period. Lack of water will cause leaf fall; in winter, watering frequency can be reduced and water can be sprayed around more. The soil can be slightly dry.

5. Fertilization: Apply thin organic liquid fertilizer 2 to 3 times a month during the growth period; reduce fertilization for potted plants that have grown into shape; stop fertilizing in winter.
