How to disassemble the hard disk of the receiver?

The method and steps for removing the hard disk are as follows:

1. Cut off the power supply.

2. Unscrew the screws on the back of the chassis and remove the chassis cover (different hosts have different ways to remove the cover).

3. Find the location of the hard disk, and then check whether there are fixing screws. If yes, unscrew the screw. (If there is a protective cover, unscrew it, too.

4. Carefully remove the hard disk, and then unplug the data cable and power cable on the hard disk (if the hard disk is IDE, the data cable will be wider, so you need to be more careful. SATA data cable is short, so be careful when pulling it out. )

Tip: Be sure to remember how to insert the data cable. Wrong insertion can easily lead to secondary damage to the hard disk.

5. Screw back the original chassis screws and wrap the hard disk with soft materials to avoid damaging the hard disk.
