At present, some hotels still don't pay attention to financial management, especially in the selection and appointment of hotel financial leaders. Some hotels randomly assign personnel as hotel post managers, but the financial personnel do not have enough financial management knowledge, or the financial controller does not have enough voice in hotel management, so it is difficult to effectively control hotel income, cost and fund management. The purchasing department of some hotels is independent of the supervision of the financial department, and the internal control is not strict, so it is difficult to supervise and restrict the purchasing behavior. The financial management mechanism of some hotels is not determined, which is not scientific and reasonable enough. It is difficult for hotel financial work to play a guiding role. There is no harmonious cooperation mechanism between finance department and purchasing department, production department or market department. It is difficult to implement the preparation and implementation of financial budget, and financial supervision cannot be carried out. The level of financial management needs to be further improved.

Hotel financial management is influenced by traditional management methods, and some hotels have not yet established a perfect financial management system. Although some hotels have established basic financial management systems, they have not established relevant accounting and financial index assessment systems. Some hotels don't define the organization and job responsibilities of the financial department, and financial management doesn't involve all aspects of the hotel, which affects the effect of financial management.

(C) Hotel cost control needs to be strengthened

At present, the cost control of hotels in China needs to be strengthened, some hotels are not aware of the cost, and the cost control behavior is not fully carried out, which leads to high hotel costs and affects hotel benefits. Some hotels have a weak sense of cost, and hotel employees do not fully feel the pressure of market competition. They think that cost control is a matter for financial departments or hotel managers, and has little to do with their own work. Without effective cost control measures, wasteful behavior occurs from time to time. Some hotels have a backward understanding of the content of cost control, and also limit the cost management to the traditional cost management, such as insufficient control of human resources, a large number of senior managers in hotels but still not giving full play to their management efficiency, and high salary expenditure leading to idle resources. On the other hand, the labor intensity of service personnel is high, the number of service personnel is small, and the salary is low, which affects the basic service level. Generally speaking, the allocation of human resources is unreasonable. Some hotels' cost control methods are relatively backward, and there is no perfect cost control system or cost control target. The communication channel of hotel cost control information is not smooth enough, and the level of hotel cost control needs to be improved. Some hotels do not have sufficient pre-and post-control and there are relatively many post-control and feedback, so it is difficult to ensure the effect of cost control.
