How to enjoy Osaka Castle in Japan in two and a half days? Do you have any strategies to recommend?

I have always felt like a ADHD patient, unable to stay at home. Even on weekends, I have to go out to meet friends or travel. Later, after I got promoted a little bit, I started to turn my attention to some surrounding countries. The one that impressed me the most was Osaka, Japan! A weekend (2 days) plus half a day off is more than enough. This trip is mainly for fun, not shopping.

Most cities in China have direct flights to Osaka. Because I am in Shanghai, I flew from Shanghai Pudong Airport to Osaka Kansai Airport, with one checked baggage and one hand luggage. However, Because my travel time was short and I didn’t pay much attention to shopping, I only brought a 24-inch suitcase, and it was mostly empty. The round-trip ticket cost 1,600. This is a ticket I bought several months in advance. I can only say that hard work paid off!

For my visa, I specifically went to a travel agency to apply for a visa this time, which cost 1,400 multiple times in three years. Although the price is a little more expensive, the materials provided are simpler, and it is still a good deal if you think about it with unlimited times for three years. Hotels throughout Japan are very expensive. Many times, the hotel you spend 700 yuan on may be similar to a domestic express hotel. For this reason, I spent a lot of time screening hotels, and finally I found a hotel with high cost performance. It cost 1,000 yuan for three nights. The hotel's location is very convenient. It's only a few minutes' walk to the subway station.

Shinsaibashi is my first stop in Osaka. It is a famous commercial street. I mainly went there for the atmosphere of this commercial street. Japanese signboards of various styles and colors are hung high, and you can see them as soon as you look up. The scent of snacks wafted in the air from time to time, and I was starting to feel hungry after obviously just finishing my meal. I walked around for about 2 hours and then left. If you came here for shopping, you can walk further in and the prices will be cheaper.

After leaving Shinsaibashi, I took the Kintetsu from here to Nara Sacred Deer Park, which takes about 30 minutes. Basically when you go here in the morning, if you buy deer cakes, you can be regarded as being attacked by the deer. So I specially went in the afternoon. At this time, they are already well fed and will not pester you all the time. Instead, you can take photos and play with them as much as you like.

On the second day, there is only one main destination, which is Universal Studios in Osaka! In order to have a little more fun and speed, I had the rare luxury of buying a fast ticket. It turns out that I saw that it took one and a half hours for others to shoot a project, so my choice was right! Naturally, when you come here, you have to play Harry Potter, the ace project here. The VR project inside is very realistic and the walls of the castle are restored using VR to look like they can talk. It’s so fun! In addition, the Flying Pteranodon, Hollywood Dream Coaster, Spider-Man, Jurassic Park and the newly opened Minions are all worth a try.

This is my different trip to Kansai, Japan, allowing you to explore Osaka, Japan with zero foundation, making your free travel easier
