Before I went to the East Pole, I collected a lot of information about the East Pole, including beautiful scenery pictures and many legends about the East Pole. This time I was lucky enough to go to the East Pole with a group. It was a rare opportunity.

On the day I went to East Pole, I got up early. I usually get up very late, but I felt that today was different. I set off from Dinghai Station directly to Bansheng Cave in Shenjiamen, where I met the tour guide of Green Dongji Tourism Service Co., Ltd. who was waiting there. This time, staff from three regional hospitals in Zhoushan, Ningbo, and Hangzhou organized a trip to the East Pole. After getting their permission to join the group, I boarded the East Pole ferry excitedly.

The Dongji Ferry slowly left Shenjiamen Pier. This voyage took 2.5 hours. Because I knew the voyage would take a long time, in order to pass the time, I took out the MP3 player I had prepared and took a nap first. After about 2 hours, I couldn't sit still anymore, so I walked outside to look at the sea. Looking at the endless sea is a visual enjoyment. The water is clear and blue, and there is a line between the sea and the sky. Because the weather was really good that day, the sea water looked particularly clear under the sun. Although I am from Zhoushan, I grew up by the sea, but this is the first time I have seen such clear water, and it feels the same as the sea water in Qingdao. Under the influence of the breeze, the sea surface undulated and occasionally stirred up layers of whitecaps, just like naughty children laughing and playing in their mother's arms. From a distance, you can see the most famous island in the East - Xifu Mountain, also known as Xifu Mountain Reclining Buddha, because this mountain looks like a reclining Buddha from a distance. Because before I came to Dongji Island, the pictures I collected of Dongji Island included the Reclining Buddha of Xifu Mountain. At that time, I thought that such online pictures must have been modified, but I didn’t expect that they were exactly the same.

The dock where our ship docked was Miaozi Lake on Dongji Island, which is the busiest island in Dongji. When we got off the boat, the East Pole fishermen stood enthusiastically on the dock and greeted us with smiles. We booked accommodation and meals at the best hotel in Dongji - Dongfu Hotel. This hotel is located on the edge of the pier and is located on the second floor. The first floor is the ticket office for Shenjiamen to and from Dongji, and the second floor is The only OK hall in Dongji is located above the second floor of Dongfu Hotel. However, the house structure in Dongji is built against the mountain. The buildings are stacked upward, and the foundation is higher than the first floor. We walked up the stairs and entered Dongfu Winery. The tour guide arranged accommodation for us first. When we returned to the hall, the chef had already brought all the prepared dishes to the table. Most of the food on the table was local seafood. Maybe because they were hungry or maybe it tasted really delicious, everyone ate up every table. After taking a short rest, I started a thrilling and exciting sea trip in the afternoon.

Getting on the local tourist boat, our destination is Dongfu Mountain, the easternmost inhabited island in Dongji. The tour guide explained to us along the way. The boat was driving in the undulating clear water, and everyone's screams were heard from time to time. I always thought that doctors were more serious, conscientious, and reserved. Unexpectedly, they also have a crazy side. When they relax, they release all their stress into the sea and tolerate their worries and sorrows. After about 45 minutes of travel, we arrived at Dongfu Mountain. The purpose of this trip is sea fishing, which is indeed a challenge for us inexperienced novices, but everyone is already eager to try it. I found the best sea fishing spot. To be honest, it is not the best place for professional sea fishing. But for the sake of safety, I just did it on the flat ground at a pier. After wandering around the area, we really discovered a lot. The seaweed soup we usually drink turns out to be grown on rocks, and its original color is green. The most distinctive seafood feature in Dongji is the Buddha's Hand, which grows in the crevices of the rocks and is surrounded by all kinds of conches. There are people living in Dongfu Mountain. Anyway, I saw only three people, one was an old lady, and two were middle-aged men. Maybe there were some who went to sea, but I can't be sure that there were many. When there were still 45 minutes left before boarding the ship, I found that everyone had gained a lot. I also wanted to experience the fun of sea fishing, so I gave it a try. Although I heard the story "Kitten Fishing" when I was a child, you must remember to concentrate on fishing.

When I couldn't hold on, I had a strange feeling, thinking that I had really caught a fish! So I shouted "I caught a fish", and the person next to me immediately said "quickly reel in the line", and then I pulled my spirit back and hurriedly reeled in the line. Not bad, this fish is quite big, I feel so beautiful, this is my first time to catch a fish!

We set off on time at 4 o'clock. For a novice, it is good to have three plates full of fish. In fact, it should be said that Dongji is really a paradise for sea fishing.
