I had the privilege of personally experiencing many tourist attractions in Tongnan. The following are my personal favorite three scenic spots.

Shuangjiang Ancient Town in Tongnan 1

Shuangjiang ancient town in Tongnan is like a door of time, which takes us back to ancient times. The Qing Dynasty buildings and the Qingshiban Road here are well preserved, and every step seems to shuttle through the long river of history. The traditional Sichuan architectural style and authentic Sichuan cuisine paint a vivid picture of life in the ancient town, which makes people intoxicated and linger.

2. Tongnan Buddhist Temple

Tongnan Buddhist Temple is a shocking Buddhist shrine. The core of this temple is a 30.6-meter-high carved Buddha statue, whose majestic image makes people deeply feel the solemnity and mystery of Buddhist culture. The architectural style of the Great Buddha Temple is also very unique, with red walls and green tiles and cornices. Every detail reflects the exquisite skills and profound heritage of China's ancient architecture. During the holidays, the Great Buddha Temple will also hold grand Buddhist activities, attracting countless tourists to come for pilgrimage and sightseeing.

3. Tongnan Canal

Tongnan Canal is a witness of history, quietly telling the past years of Tongnan. Walking along this ancient canal, you can see the willows along the coast, and the scenery is beautiful, as if you have entered an ancient and quiet world. Visiting the canal by boat is a different experience. On the boat, you can not only enjoy the beautiful scenery on both sides of the canal, but also have a deeper understanding of Tongnan's history and culture and feel the unique charm of the city.
