Huaqiao University's tourism management and other four undergraduate majors have passed the education quality certification of the United Nations World Tourism Organization.

April 25th, UNWTO. TedQual sent a letter to Huaqiao University, confirming that the certification scores of the four undergraduate majors in Tourism Management, Hotel Management, Exhibition Economy and Management, Human Geography, and Urban and Rural Planning of the School of Tourism were 803 (the completion rate was 95.03%, out of 845), and all of them successfully passed the certification and obtained the four-year certification with the highest certification level, which is the first time in domestic tourism colleges.

It is understood that the World Tourism Organization's tourism education quality certification system (UNWTO. TedQual certification was established in 1998 to improve the quality of global tourism education, tourism training and tourism research projects and promote global tourism ethics. It is of great significance to evaluate and improve the teaching and comprehensive management level of tourism colleges, which is highly demonstrative in quality control, curriculum standardization, content quality and internationalization of vision of tourism education. Obtaining the education quality certification of the World Tourism Organization has become an important evaluation standard for world-class tourism colleges.
