In my mind, Yunnan is a mysterious, beautiful, romantic and quiet province. Even if I set foot on this land five times, I will still have a lingering fear. The unique customs and natural beauty always make people indulge in the beautiful scenery of "wind, flowers, snow and moon", "Cangshan snow and Erhai moon". At the beginning of the new year, following the activities of FAW Toyota in China, we started a five-day exploration tour of southern Yunnan, with a journey of 2 145 km. Before the start of the journey, the choice of vehicles is particularly critical, because Yunnan has complex terrain and huge differences in altitude. From Kawalpo at an altitude of 6,740m to the intersection of Yuanjiang and nanxi river at an altitude of 76.4m, the altitude of 960km dropped to 6,663.6m.. The terrain here is dominated by mountains and plateaus, and the terrain fluctuates greatly, so it is also a testing ground for self-driving vehicles. First stop: Xishuangbanna? Tropical botanical garden

Xishuangbanna, known as the "Heart of Emerald", has a well-preserved tropical ecosystem, is home to one quarter of the country's wild animals and one fifth of higher plant species, and is a "rainforest home" with a green background. Tropical Botanical Garden of Chinese Academy of Sciences is also one of the classics of network celebrities who went to Banna to punch cards. It is the largest botanical garden in China with the richest species collection and the largest number of specialized plants gardens. It is also a comprehensive research institution and scenic spot integrating scientific research, species protection and popular science education. Here, you can see giant water lilies that can feed an adult, trees that can make poisonous arrows that kill people and seal their throats, and so on. Most of the rare plants that once existed only in textbooks can be found here.

In order to make the time on the road less boring, we decided to start a fuel-saving challenge on the way to Yuanyang terraced fields after leaving the Botanical Garden. It is said that Toyota's models save fuel, but how much can they save? This time, we have a chance to test it. There were three people in our Crown Fang Lu, and there were three 24-inch suitcases and some supplementary materials in the trunk, which was almost full. Although the ups and downs on the road are very unfriendly to the fuel consumption test, we finally achieved 6.38L/ 100 km in the fuel-saving race of nearly 300 km, ranking third in the team, and the first one ran out of the excellent fuel consumption of 4.93L per 100 km, which was also surprising.

Behind such excellent fuel consumption performance, Crown Fang Lu is equipped with TNGA 2.5L power engine with thermal efficiency of 4 1%, with comprehensive power 183 kW and peak torque of 238 Nm. When overtaking or climbing a hill, the driver can not only feel the surging power and driving pleasure, but also improve fuel economy. Second stop: Yuanyang? Hani terrace

There are 25 ethnic minorities living in this "green land" in Yunnan, which is one of the major provinces where ethnic minorities live in compact communities. Among them, Yuanyang, as the hometown of Hani generations, left a magnificent spectacle of farming civilization in the terraced fields created by people of all ethnic groups under special geographical climate. The "Tianshan Mountains", like giant non-written history books, entered the terraced fields, intuitively showing the magnificent scenery of natural features, and also letting people appreciate the long history of the Hani people for thousands of years. ?

Yuanyang terrace is located at the southern foot of Ailao Mountain. It is inevitable to drive a long way along Panshan Road to enjoy the terraced landscape, which is also my most exciting moment. Compared with the straight expressway, the mountain road is not only more fun to drive, but also has a deeper understanding of vehicles. Dongfeng Fengyun Art City is located at 1 1km in downtown Mile City, Honghe Hani and Yi Autonomous Prefecture, Yunnan Province. Close to Maitreya high-speed railway station, about 2 hours' drive from Kunming. It is a characteristic town with culture and art as the main line. It was designed and built by Luo Xu, a local Yunnan artist. There are "ugly buildings" such as Kaleidoscope Art Museum, Half Cloud, Niuduoluo Music Farm, and sealed houses repaired with red bricks in the scenic area.

Among them, Kaleidoscope Art Museum is the most popular place to take photos and punch in Maitreya's "Celebrity on the Internet". Its architectural style combines the red wine culture and fire culture of the Axi people, a branch of the Yi nationality. The wine bottle and the burning castle are all made of red bricks. Because of their peculiar shapes, they are called "magical futuristic magic castle", which is also one of my favorite places in the whole trip, because it is really popular. In addition to taking photos, the town also provides in-depth experience of tie-dyeing and ceramic intangible cultural heritage, and also makes people realize the cultural charm of China traditional crafts.

Our hotel is close to the scenic spot and has plenty of time. In addition, the afternoon sunshine warms us, so this journey is more leisurely. In order to better experience this deceleration time, I turned on the intelligent driver assistance system.

Its area is second only to Dianchi Lake and Erhai Lake, and it is the third largest lake in Yunnan Province. Because its lake is covered with this thin layer of fog all the year round, just like a fairy covered with gauze, it is named Fuxian Lake.

However, if you want to have a panoramic view of Fuxian Lake, Modou Mountain next to it is the best sightseeing spot. Mo Dou Mountain, the first peak in Yuxi, Yunnan, is surrounded by mountains and rivers, Xingyun Lake and Fuxian Lake. It is filled with a quiet and pleasant life atmosphere, and even the breeze caressing the cheeks between the mountains and rivers is much gentler.
