Dujiangyan Guide Han Yulei Pavilion Dujiangyan Leiyu Hotel Introduction

1. Introduction to Dujiangyan Yulei Hotel

Jincheng refers to Chengdu. This name, speaking of it, should have originated from the Shu Han Dynasty, which is more than 1,700 years old than Guicheng.

Du Fu, the great poet of the Tang Dynasty, once said a famous saying: The Silk River with bright spring scenery floats between heaven and earth, like a line of clouds beside the Jade Peak, between ancient times and the present. Jinjiang is the river at the south gate of Chengdu, which is the river next to Jinjiang Hotel today.

The bright spring silk river floats between heaven and earth. It is definitely not Jincheng named after Jinjiang. Some people may ask: So where did the name Chengdu come from? Why do both Jincheng and Jinjiang have gold?

As we all know, the Chengdu Plain is located in the middle of the Sichuan Basin, with a mild climate, moderate rainfall, crisscrossing ditches, rich products, beautiful mountains and rivers, and unique natural conditions. It can be said to be a God-given treasure and has been known as the land of abundance throughout the ages.

Chengdu has a relatively developed brocade handicraft industry for a long time. Yang Xiong wrote in "Ode to the Capital of Shu" that you are a person who weaves wonderful brocade by yourself. Zuo Si's "Ode to the Capital of Shu" also said: A house of skills, a hundred separate rooms, looms and. The famous Southern Silk Road transported silk and satin from Chengdu to the United States to India. When the Three Kingdoms fought for hegemony, Liu Bei occupied Chengdu, and the first thing to develop was Shu Brocade, so Zhuge Liang said that if you decide the enemy's capital, you can only admire the icing on the cake! ; It means that if Liu Bei wants to defeat the enemy, his only military supply money comes from Shu Brocade.

In order to develop Shu brocade, Liu Bei established an official brocade area in today's Wuhou Temple. Changqu's "Huayang Guozhi" records that from then on, the Nanmen Bridge led directly to Golden Crown City. Li Ying also said in "Yizhou Ji" that Jincheng is in the south of Yizhou, east of Qianqiao, and flows into the south bank of the Yangtze River. In the past, when the Shu Kingdom was in Sichuan, it was the Jinguan Mansion. It was named Jinli and the city walls are still there. These historical records fully prove that Liu Bei did have places and officials dedicated to the development of Shu brocade at that time.

In addition, there were many places where people were weaving and selling Sichuan brocade at that time. For example, there used to be a Cuqiao Town in the south gate of Chengdu, which is now Cuqiao Town in Wuhou District. At that time, it was a place where people made and traded Sichuan brocade. What was the grand occasion of the Han Dynasty like? It is said to be more lively than Jinguan City, but in the Qing Dynasty it was not as lively as before. In the poem "A Walk on Clustered Bridges", Qing Dynasty poet Huang Yungu once sang: Clustered bridge wires can keep out the cold, and clustered bridge wires work hard in summer.

The bridge is 20 miles away from the city, and the people are too hungry to scream. ; To this day, there are silk weaving factories and silk shops in Cuqiao, which shows that Chengdu brocade was widely spread during the Three Kingdoms period.

;Where can I find my ancestral temple? It is in a pine forest near the Silk City. These famous poems all mention that Jin Guan left a record of the naming of Jincheng when Liu Bei and Zhuge Liang were managing the Shu Han regime in Chengdu.

The brocade is washed in the river. People in Jinguancheng like to wash brocade in Nanhe, so Chengdu people call Nanhe Jinjiang. It is said that during the Shu Han Dynasty, Shu women washed colorful Shu brocade and people came and went on the river bank every day. When the flowers bloom in spring, the scenery along the river is even more impressive. Having said that, I'm afraid I can't. It's not difficult to imagine that the poetry in the sentences "Jin Jiang and Lei Yu" came from Du Fu, a great poet of the Tang Dynasty.

If the bright spring Silk River, floating between heaven and earth, is somewhat freehand after all, the eternal Lei Yu, standing proudly in Dujiangyan, can prove that the poet is really praising Chengdu, the capital of Shu, Spring is endless.

The origin of Jincheng is due to brocade; the origin of Jinjiang is due to brocade. Knowing the origin of the two, the first question about why Chengdu and Jinjiang have the same inscriptions is naturally solved.
