Shiqiao found no epidemic today. From 00: 00 to 24: 00 on September 9, 2022, there were no newly confirmed cases and asymptomatic local infected people in Guangzhou. Six confirmed cases were imported from abroad, of which 1 case came from Singapore, the United States, Nigeria, Vietnam, Bangladesh and Mongolia. 9 cases of asymptomatic infected persons were imported from abroad, including Thailand, Myanmar, Laos, South Korea and Vietnam 1 case, and 2 cases from Bangladesh and Singapore. In addition, 2 cases of asymptomatic infection imported from abroad were diagnosed.

The above-mentioned confirmed cases and asymptomatic infected persons imported from abroad will be transported to the centralized isolation point according to the whole closed-loop management procedure after entering the country. During the isolation period, COVID-19 was positive for nucleic acid, and was transferred to the Eighth Affiliated Hospital of Guangyi for isolation treatment.

By 24: 00 on September 19, 2022, 7029 cases of positive infection in COVID-19 were reported in the whole city. Among them, 3,489 cases were diagnosed (2,442 cases imported from overseas, local 1.047 cases) and still hospitalized 1 case.
