What is Brahma?

Mahabrahman in Sanskrit transliteration: Mahabha Rama, translated as: tranquility. In Buddhist scriptures,' Brahma' is the name of all the heavens in the abstinence world, and the first day is Brahma. The great Brahman is the king, the Brahman is the minister and the Brahman is the people. Brahma is the creative god of Brahmanism and Hinduism, and is called the Three Gods together with Shiva and Vishnu.

Brahma is both a creator and a destroyer. When he is happy, the world is stable and everything is prosperous; When he is angry, the world is uneasy, disasters are born, and all beings are distressed, even the vegetation is not spared. He is the patron saint of the Buddha. It is the first of the "Twenty Days" in Buddhism.

I. Introduction

(1) According to the records in the Buddhist scriptures, there are countless billions of worlds in the world of ten buddhas and bodhisattvas, including 28 heavens.

It includes six days of desire (the day when there is still desire), ruled by Indra, and then the first meditation for three days (the day when meditation leaves desire).

Ruled by the Great Brahma King, that is to say, the Great Brahma King ranked first in the first three days of meditation, ruling the six-day desires and the world we live in.

According to the historical records of Thai gods, when the universe was in the flood era, the first god was born in the flood world to create human beings.

He is a great Brahma King. He is not only the god of human beings, but also all the celestial gods in the realm of desire and early Zen.

Asura (the monster) and the owner of all the wealth in the world.

The heavenly king has infinite divine power in heaven, mastering the prosperity of the world and spreading lofty divine power.

(2) The Great Brahma King, with eight ears and eighteen arms on all sides, holds a flag, a Buddhist sutra, a magic snail and a bright wheel.

One holds a scepter, one holds a kettle, one holds a rosary, and the other holds a fingerprint.

Among them, hand-held instruments and handprints have their profound meanings and sources:

Lingqi: It represents cosmic magic.

2. Buddhist scriptures: representing wisdom.

3. Pharmacist: It stands for blessing.

4. Ming wheel: it stands for eliminating disasters, demons and troubles.

5. scepter: represents the highest achievement.

6. Kettle: stands for quenching thirst (reacting)

7. rosary: it represents reincarnation.

8. handprint on the chest: it represents blessing.

The Brahma King is gentle and full of four upright characters: compassion, benevolence, fraternity and justice.

Buddhism calls it Brahman's four Sanskrit, which is also the four boundless hearts of Buddhism, kindness, sadness, joy and separation.

Therefore, I am willing to bless and help all the gods and springs, especially those who practice the four Sanskrit (Infinite Mind).

On the way to becoming a Buddha, you can get self-sufficient food and do whatever you want at any time, regardless of money and law.

Fate achievement. This spirit of great love has been praised by the Buddha, and it is called the "four-faced Buddha" because it practices blessing.

It is also a convenient and skillful way to become a Buddha by subsidizing the cultivation of wisdom and achieving Bodhi from Sanskrit.

It is said that the age of the God of Heavenly Kings has reached IO0 days (each day is equal to 3.200 years).

(3) To practice the Dharma of the Great Brahma, you must have the initiative to practice the four Sanskrit, which can correspond to the Great Brahma.

1. Kindness is boundless. May all beings be happy, corresponding to MITA before the Great Brahma King Buddha.

All men are brothers within the four seas, sharing weal and woe.

2. There is no end to sorrow, corresponding to Garula on the right side of the Great Brahma King, pulling out all the sufferings of all sentient beings and helping the poor.

Share joys and sorrows.

3. Happiness is boundless. On the left of the Brahma King-Mutiya, mortals are charitable and leave suffering.

Bless all beings and share prosperity.

4. Give up the boundless mind, correspond to Ubega behind the Great Brahma King, and practice the above three minds persistently.

Cultivate compassion, like three Sanskrit sounds but not persistent, hate pro-equality, can not afford to love, can not afford to hate.

As long as you can practice law for one year (or less), you can know that you have really improved your wealth and professional status.

After a year, I feel more and more excited, and the happiness I get is proportional to the size of my heart. If you have a big heart, you will have a big happiness.

If the heart is small and the blessing is small, if it is purely for self-interest and has no interest in the hearts of all beings, then there will be no induction.

This is the point.

II. Description of the setting of the altar of the Great Brahma King

(1) If there is room for the statue of Brahma on the Buddha table at home, they will be offered together, but it must be noted that,

That is to say, if the statue of the Great Brahma King is to be enshrined in a lower position than all Buddha statues, an independent and dedicated incense burner must be set up separately.

Put it in front of the photo, and if there is room, you can arrange a pair of vases. If there is no place to offer sacrifices on the Buddha table,

You can set up another altar next to the Buddha table with the following items:

A, photos of the Great Brahma King.

B, 7 sticks of Buddha incense.

C. A pair of vases (7 flowers of different colors)

Ding, a pair of candlesticks (for placing small candles).

A censer.

Buy yourself a glass of water.

G, put a small bowl of fragrant rice.

The height of the altar should be flush with the bottom table of the Buddha table, and the table should be covered with a layer of glass to prevent fire.

This altar can be placed next to the Buddha table, and the items A to G on it are placed on the table to worship the Brahma King.

If there is no room for another table next to the Buddha's table, put the table anywhere outside the Buddha's room.

But they should not be placed too close to the toilet wall, or the front of the altar should face the toilet. In this case,

Instead, a shrine can be placed in a higher place (high enough for incense) to worship the Brahma King.

Then the height of the table must be about one meter, not lower than sitting in a chair or lying in bed, which becomes disrespectful.

Sacrificial flowers have withered and must be replaced immediately. Seven flowers are arranged in each vase with Bai Lianhua or red-violet and roses.

The clean water of the altar can be changed once every night or three days, and fresh fruits such as oranges can be sacrificed.

Or every time you buy fruit, you can eat it after giving it.

(2) The altar dedicated to the Great Brahma King must be kept clean, and there should be too much incense to avoid easy ignition.

(3) 1. Every time you worship, seven fragrances are essential, except in special circumstances.

Or when you can't find incense sticks when traveling in other places or you are not suitable for offering incense for special reasons, you can join hands to worship.

2. If you can't find a candle under special circumstances, you can go to the Four Faces Buddha Hotel in Bangkok, Thailand.

When Brahma Tianwang Temple worships in front of the hotel, candles are necessary.

Generally speaking, the ceremony of wishing only uses seven sticks of Buddha incense and a bowl of fragrant rice, which can be done according to piety.

4. When worshipping, the content of prayer should be as follows: Disciple (I) is willing to sit on the seat of the Supreme Brahma King in heaven with great sincerity.

I would like to offer my offerings, wish the heavenly king all the best, and bless my disciple (I) to be happy physically and mentally, to make progress in his career, and not to be troubled by illness.

3. In a grand ceremony

Sacrificial objects shall include:

1. Seven bowls of flowers with seven colors (such as Buddha's birthday every year) (1 1 9th of the month).

2. Twenty sugarcane segments are put in bowls and decorated with roses and seven bowls.

3. The fragrant rice is packed in a small bowl and decorated with roses. There are seven bowls in all.

4. Seven pure candles, six around the disc and one in the middle.

There are three fresh coconuts, so it is better to cut off the top cover and keep the blue skin.

6. Two combs of delicious bananas.

7. Seven incense sticks.

The sacrifices in the ceremony mentioned above must be complete.

In the following ceremonies, various sacrificial ceremonies can also adopt the following methods:

1. When cleaning the shrine, please welcome the statue of the Great Brahma King before cleaning the shrine.

Even rituals such as bathing Buddha's body or sticking gold on it can only be carried out after congratulations and approval.

Please bless all kinds of ceremonies, make everything smooth, make the ceremony more sacred and fulfill your wishes.

For example, it is expected that it will not rain during various celebrations, and other wishes.

3. Offer a vow sacrifice, or let the sacrifice become immortal food after the heavenly king enjoys it.

For example, at birthday parties or New Year celebrations, all kinds of food or Chinese dishes are added with fresh fruits.

When offering sacrifices to the gods, the Brahma King will eat first, and the Brahma King will eat fruits and offerings instead of meat, such as vegetarian dishes.

As for other meat foods, they are distributed to the followers of Tianwang.

Sacrificial food should be placed on the cloth table, and the above sacrifices must be complete, and the above three prayers should be done well.

You can worship Buddha in front of the Buddha, at home or on the platform in front of the building.

Depending on the actual situation, we should pray as follows when offering sacrifices:

"Disciple (I) would like to offer various sacrifices to the Supreme Brahma Throne with great sincerity.

(If it is a wish, you should add "I made a wish before ... (explain the reasons for my wish) and now I have succeeded." ) I wish Tianwang all the best.

I wish my disciple (me) (as well as my family and people attending the ceremony) all the best, good health and long life. .....

If there are other prayers to remember.

After burning incense three times, that is, after burning incense three times in a row, pray first, and then offer it to the sacrifice.

Pray as follows:

"The supreme Brahma king in the sky eats leftovers and is willing to be immortal. Disciples (I) and others ask for many blessings.

After eating, you will stay healthy, avoid all diseases, prolong life, everything goes well, the financial resources are extensive, and everything is successful ... please bless me.

The best time to worship

Usually from 7 am to 8 am.

7: 00 pm to 8: 00 pm

9: 00 pm to 10: 00 pm on Buddha's birthday

If you want to make a wish, you should do it at night. That is, after seven o'clock, this time period is the best, but it should not exceed nine o'clock in the evening.

Sacrifices can be offered at any time, because the heavenly king can accept sacrifices at any time.

On ordinary days, every night from 7: 00 to 8: 00, it is the time for the Great Brahma King to visit the world, and sometimes the king will sit in the Dojo.

Only on the Buddha's birthday will it be postponed until 9: 00 pm 10 pm, because the heavenly king wants to visit the gods in the sky.

Fourth, ceremony and practice.

(1) Seven sticks of incense (when burning incense, each stick prays for a meaning)

1. There are no ten Buddha III in South China.

2. There are no ten prescriptions and three methods in South China

There are no ten monks in Nanfang No.3 Middle School.

4. This means wishing all beings happiness.

5. May all sentient beings be free from suffering.

6. I am glad to see all sentient beings leave their pain.

7. Give up a complaint and be pro-peace, hate without love, and cultivate the above three hearts without persistence.

(2) Eight Bowing Ceremony (Bowing Ceremony-chanting Buddha's mantra five times)

1. South without Buddha

2. Not in the South

There are no monks in the south.

4. There is no limit to kindness-(recite the Buddha mantra once)

5. There is no end to sorrow-(chanting Buddha's mantra once)

6. There is no end to happiness-(recite the Buddha mantra once)

7. Give up the boundless mind-(recite the Buddha mantra once)

8. Fa Benzun, the Great Brahma King (recite the Buddha mantra once)

(3) All the evil things done by confession in the past were born of greed and ignorance without beginning or end, and were born without body or intention. Now they seek repentance before the Buddha.

(4) Five oaths and oaths

All beings have endless wishes, troubles are endless wishes, practice is endless wishes, and wisdom is endless wishes.

(5) Huidai

I hope that with merit, it will be popularized in all things, and we will become Buddha and Tao with all beings.

(6) Matters needing attention in amending the law

1. The Buddha statue of the Great Brahma King should face east and west. If it's inconvenient,

You can imagine that you bow to the sunny King Jin Fan in the East, and you can turn your direction with your heart.

2. The time is 7: 00 am to 8: 00 am and 7: 00 pm. It is advisable to practice the method once in the morning and once in the evening, each time 10 minutes or so!

If it's inconvenient, you can meditate and practice the dharma yourself between seven and eight, so that you can turn the time around.

3. The seat of King Brahma should not be higher than other Buddha statues in the same niche, because King Brahma is the patron saint of Buddha.

So the Buddha statue should be a little lower.

4. Brahma was born in the golden fetus, and the fork is the general god of wealth. Statues should be pure gold, not other variegated colors.

5. The simplicity and convenience of Brahma's dharma practice does not affect the practice of other dharmas. Zen, Zen and Pure Land can complement each other.

Go hand in hand. Brahma's practice can be greatly blessed, which can help support the practice of other dharma circles and increase wisdom.

6. The fruit given to the Great Brahma King will become the heavenly fruit that the Great Brahma King once enjoyed after the French Reform.

I took it and ate it silently: "After eating this fruit, I can strengthen my body, prolong my life, have a successful career, have a wide range of financial resources, and have all the best."

7. The Buddha's birthday is on November 9th of the lunar calendar. On this day every year, everyone can offer flowers and fruits in front of the Buddha.

It is particularly remarkable to commemorate and celebrate, practice chanting Buddha's mantra and worship devoutly.

(7) The Buddha mantra of the Great Brahma

Suggestion: the most extraordinary Brahma and merit

The most fundamental and effective way to wish all beings happiness from suffering is to lead all beings to listen to Buddha, and only Buddha is happy from suffering.

Great magic. If you can make up your mind to spend at least one time a year practicing the Dharma of the Great Brahma King, that is the greatest kindness that the Great Brahma King can feel and benefit.

Whether it is to improve fate, eliminate disasters, prolong life, seek happiness, seek wealth, or attract outsiders to listen to Buddhism, in order to practice the performance of the four infinite minds,

The effect is the most remarkable and rapid, so it is rapid, because the merits of Buddhism are boundless and incredible.

What do verbs (short for verb) hope and should hope for?

If you live near the Dojo dedicated to the Great Brahma King, it is appropriate to make a wish in person in front of the Great Brahma King.

If you live far away and can't see the king in person, if you worship the statue of the king at home and make a wish before God, if there is no statue of the king at home,

Worship in the open air, light seven sticks of incense, make a wish, and then put them in an open-air flowerpot. Never stick incense in the ground.

If the content of the wish belongs to the nature of success, such as hoping for a raise, winning an exam, getting a son, traveling abroad, asking for debts, etc.

If the content of the wish belongs to the nature of blessing, such as bon voyage and going abroad safely with money without loss,

Perform dangerous tasks for safety, etc.

If the content of the wish belongs to the nature of career progress, such as stable career development and best-selling factory products.

The above three wishes for sexual congratulations should be to offer at least a bunch of flowers with seven colors and seven bunches after praying for success.

If desire is more complicated and important, pray for a few flowers after success.

However, it should be noted that when making a wish, never make a promise of offering seven colors, seven long bouquets and four ropes.

Because of this, it will definitely not succeed. If you think you have little chance of success in what you ask, you can do something more valuable than flowers.

That is, seven bundles of seven-color silk scarves, if you feel that you should make a more grand contribution to repay the grace of the heavenly king, you can also promise to dedicate a few seats.

Make your wish clear to Tianwang first.

As for the content of wishes, it belongs to the nature of blessing peace, such as asking patients to recover as soon as possible and prolong their lives.

If the illness is not serious, you can make seven long flower strings with seven colors. If the illness is serious and life-threatening at any time,

When making a wish, you should stay in the ward of any hospital and building according to the patient's name, hoping to recover as soon as possible, such as getting rid of the disease.

May 12 inch Buddha statue be cast. The prayer of wishing is as follows:

"Disciple (I) would like to offer all kinds of sacrifices to the heavenly king and the supreme Brahma with great sincerity. May the Heavenly King Church succeed.

Pray for blessing ... (specify the details of praying) ... If successful, disciple (I) is willing to contribute ... "

(explaining dedication) as a sign of reverence. "

If the wish is successful, make a wish immediately, and hold it in front of Brahma Buddha, whenever and wherever you wish.

It is best to make a wish in front of the Dojo dedicated to the Brahma King to pray for God's only blessing.

As for making a wish with a banquet, the banquet can be set anywhere, hoping to sacrifice to God as the main condition.

(that is, in the third item, the article on sacrifice explains) When offering sacrificial food, you should pray as follows:

"Disciple (I) would like to offer ... (I also want to provide a product) ... the vows before the Supreme Brahma King (elaborate on the vows).

..... Now that it has succeeded, I wish Tianwang all the best and accept disciple's (my) oath to protect disciple's (my) peace ... (and then pray).

Those who have made a wish and recovered from illness are also willing to cast a 12 inch Buddha statue, which can be enshrined in their own homes.

Otherwise, it is better to send it to any temple for worship. However, please don't dedicate the Buddha statue to Brahma Tianwang Temple.

When offering sacrifices to Buddha statues, there must be a ceremony of watering and praying, and the prayers are as follows:

"Brother Yu (I) would like to offer a Buddha and a good fruit to the supreme Brahma King in the sky. I wish shengyi success.

And wish my brother career progress, physical and mental happiness, long life and disease-free ... (Other prayers can be added at will) ".

After praying, pour Dharma water on the clean floor in front of the house. Besides offering sacrifices to Buddha statues and pouring water for good fruit,

If possible, you should find an opportunity to worship Buddha in Tianwang Temple in front of the Four Faces Buddha Hotel.

Thank the heavenly king for his kindness ...

Special case of intransitive verbs

"In this troubled world, life is full of humiliation, blessings and disasters, just like the winds of the four seasons, which are all arranged by fate.

In a few words, we can see that the fate of life is uncertain, there are honors and humiliations, and there are blessings and disasters. We often don't want the winner to be placed on us.

People who want it can't get it. The Great Brahma King is the supreme of heaven, and controls the destiny of life. If you have the opportunity, you should sincerely worship him.

For blessing, worship at least once a week, especially on Saturday and Sunday.

Or worship on the birthday (every year 1 1 9th of the month). If the birthday falls on a Wednesday, worship once every Wednesday.

Pray for the heavenly king to bless peace, prosper in wealth, travel safely, and think of eliminating disasters and accepting blessings together.

In heaven and hell, you can't have the same fate with monks as in the world. When the Buddha becomes a positive result, he is also a positive result in the world.

Therefore, in this world, if you get a blessing from a monk, the heavenly king will also give it to the sinners who have been tempered in hell.

Let him suffer less, but also increase the good deeds of the king. Therefore, he donated the handle of the monk, treated the monks well, and the heavenly king directly cultivated good fruit.

This widespread distribution of blessings to the "longevity god" also means that everyone in the world has a god who only secretly supervises its products.

Bless their progress and happiness. If they broadcast good results, blessings and deep sins, they will virtually wash away the sins they have unintentionally accumulated.

And be blessed to make yourself physically and mentally happy and make progress in your career.

In addition to planting all kinds of good fruits for the great Brahma King, every time I pour water to accept the blessing, I also pray "May the king be happy."

After praising, he asked for blessing and said, "Please bless my brother's happiness and progress." . This is because the heavenly king has unlimited power in heaven.

Mastering the prosperity of the world has lofty magic.
