You can take the 8 o'clock or 9 o'clock high-speed train to Beijing.

Beijing South Railway Station can take the subway to the Forbidden City (you can get off at Tiananmen East or West) and turn at 9: 30 pm to 3: 30 pm, which is enough time for most of the day. Then you can take the subway directly to the Bird's Nest, grab something nearby and enter the venue to watch the concert.

I suggest you stay in Houhai area of Gulou. There are also some fast hotel chains and small boutique hotels, which are generally above 200. The concert will end at about 9: 30 10. You can go by subway or bus.

If you live in Houhai Gulou area, you can also look around and see the night after you arrive.
