Mountain line or sea line from Kenting to Hualien-Route recommendation

When you travel to Taiwan Province Province, you must plan your travel route in advance. But there is a problem. Is Hualien to Kenting a mountain line or a sea line? This mainly depends on which scenic spots you like. The following small series introduces two routes to you. You can choose according to your own preferences. Or increase or decrease yourself according to the recommended route.

Hualien-Kenting Mountain Line (East African Rift Valley)

The Great Rift Valley Line in East Africa is the so-called mountain line, and Huadong Valley runs from Hualien to Kenting.

The routine route is Yunlianshui-Hualien Guangfu Sugar Factory-Mizuho Ranch-Tropic of Cancer-Bolang Avenue-Chibianye-Lvye Gao Tai-Duoliang Station-Kenting Street.

If it happens to be the flowering season, the scenery will be good. Friends who like flowers and plants should not miss it. In fact, the most beautiful scenery is the scenery along the way, with big flowers everywhere. Another wonderful advantage of chartered cars is that they can stop to take pictures at any time.

Hualien-Kenting shipping line

The main attractions are the Tropic of Cancer, Shihtiping, Stone Umbrella and Cape. This line has been going south along the east China coastline. There are vast seas everywhere, strange stones everywhere and beautiful scenery. If you take this route, the best way to play is to rent a car. It takes at least 10 hour to enjoy the beautiful scenery while eating.

Route: Kenting-Duoliang Station-Fugang Fishing Port-Little yehliu-Sanxi Sendai-Tropic of Cancer Landmark-Shihtiping-Shimen-Baqi-Niu Shan-Hualien.

Whether to take the longitudinal valley line or the coastline depends on how much you like the sea. After taking the longitudinal valley line to the pool, you will also see the coastline.

Route recommendation

From Kenting to Hualien, you can walk for two days if you have enough time, and stay at the famous Zhiben Master Hot Spring Hotel in Taitung on the first night.

So it's equivalent to taking a part of the sea line (I didn't know this until I got back to Little yehliu) and going to Zonggushan Line in East China.

Personally, I think this trip is very reasonable, combining work and rest, and I am very tired after walking through the East Rift Valley or the coastline in one day.

The first 1 day Kenting-Taitung

Itinerary recommendation: Duoliang Station, Little yehliu, Jalulan Rest Area and Shuixianggao.

Transportation: chartered car.

The first stop is Duoliang Station.

The most beautiful station on the coastline of Taiwan Province Province is Duoliang Station in taimali township, Taitung County. On the way from Kenting to Taitung, you must go to the beautiful pilgrimage station.

Duoliang Station is a small station by the sea. Standing on the platform, you can have a bird's eye view of the Pacific Ocean. When you arrive at the station, you will live up to the most beautiful station!

The second stop is Little yehliu.

Little yehliu geopark, located in the north of TaiFuGang fishing port, is the southernmost scenic spot on the east coast. Because of its rich and varied marine erosion landscape, it is comparable to yehliu geopark on the north coast, hence the name.

This is definitely a scenic spot that we seriously underestimate! Although not as famous as yehliu on the north coast, there are few people. More importantly, you can go directly to the seaside and enjoy and trample on these strange stones at a very close distance. There are countless changes, but they are extremely real. I deeply lament the ingenuity of nature.

Third stop, Jalulan Entertainment District.

The seaside scenic spot of Donghe Township, Taitung County, which belongs to the east coast of Taiwan Province Province, is the north side of the famous Little yehliu scenic spot.

At the fourth stop, the high tide lifted all the boats.

As the saying goes, "Man struggles upwards, but water flows downwards." However, there is a farmland irrigation canal here, which actually violates gravity. The water flows up slowly along the ditch, and there is a stone tablet engraved with "Jue" by the ditch. In fact, it is because the slope of the scenery on both sides here is greater than the road surface, and it is a steep slope as a reference, which causes the illusion that water flows upward.

The next day Taitung-Hualien

Itinerary recommendation: Luye Gao Tai, Bolang Avenue, Chishang Bento, Tropic of Cancer, Mizuho Ranch, Hualien Sugar Factory in Guangfu Township, Yunshanshui.

Transportation: chartered car.

The first stop is Gao Tai in Green Field.

The highlight here is paragliding, which has been promoted for more than ten years, attracting many fellow travelers who like flying at high altitude. You can register on site or make an appointment online in advance.

It is an idyllic road in Chishang Township, Taitung County, formerly known as Jinxinsan Road. This road divides the fields on both sides into two halves. The charm of Brown Avenue lies in the vast paddy field scenery. When we went in January, the rape blossoms were just in full bloom and pieces of rape blossoms were in the sea. It is the beauty of the healing system, and we fell in love at first sight. And there are really no telephone poles on both sides of the road.

Third stop, rice balls on the swimming pool.

This shop is not so much a restaurant as a folk museum. The first floor is the dining place, and the second floor is the bento museum. The furniture is very old. There is a train carriage outside the store, probably to commemorate the birthplace of rice bags on the train station pool, and rice can also be eaten in the train carriage.

Fourth stop Tropic of Cancer Monument

There are three historic sites of the Tropic of Cancer in Taiwan Province Province, one of which is 70.5km away from Hualien terrace line 1 1. This white monument is located in Tropic of Cancer Park, facing the Pacific Ocean in the east. It is a towering monument that attracts many tourists to take pictures here.

5 th station mizuho pasture

The grass is green. If it is sunny, the pasture here is more charming. Ostriches are kept in captivity on the lawn, and sometimes they come to the fence to interact with you. You can also feed it with grass. It is novel and shocking to see this monster at such a close distance.

Its limited desserts, such as cheesecake, fresh cheese, nougat and frozen milk, are very popular with tourists.

Guangfuxiang Liuzhan Hualien Sugar Factory

Hualien Sightseeing Sugar Factory is located in Guangfu Township, Hualien County, which is rich in sightseeing resources. Therefore, it is often called Guangfu Sugar Factory. In the early days, it was an important sugar factory in the east. After shutting down, it was transformed into a sightseeing sugar factory. By integrating the left industrial culture, culture and scenery, and taking advantage of the superior geographical position, it has successfully transformed into a cultural leisure sightseeing park and museum. Its diversified business model has opened the second spring for Hualien Sugar Factory.

Japanese wooden houses can be seen everywhere in sugar factories. These former staff dormitories were built during the Japanese occupation period and have a history of nearly 80 years. The building structure is elegant and exquisite, even without nails. They have been affected by earthquakes and typhoons for many years and are still well preserved.

7 th stop yunshanshui

The clouds and mountains in Hualien are composed of villas, and the garden area is very large. Basically, they are homestays, which are good places for self-cultivation and self-cultivation.
