On March 5, 20 17, it was discovered that Qingyuan had teamed up to visit Shili Peach Blossom in Shang Ping Village, Lianping County, Guangdong Province, and visited South Wudang Mountain by the way. At that time, the ticket for the South Wudang Mountain Scenic Spot was only 15 yuan, which was the most valuable scenic spot visited by Bian Xiao. But we were determined to explore and discover, and never took the usual road, so we decided to cross on foot. This choice is by no means to save tickets for 90 yuan, but to experience different passion for exploration and discover different scenery.

After walking through the route map, we went to the scenic spot from Henggang Village at the southern foot of Wudang Mountain. This is a desolate and dilapidated sand road, which is very difficult to walk. If no one shows the way, it is easy to get lost. Today is not a weekend, so few people come to visit South Wudang Mountain. Walking on the deserted scenic plank road, it seems that there are only a few of us between heaven and earth. This feeling is really special.

Soon I arrived at the Emerald Valley between Wudang Mountain and the Five Girls' Day celebration. The view here is relatively wide, and all kinds of grotesque stalagmite-shaped barrel peaks come on us, which makes us a little caught off guard. Five women's birthdays are the essence of South Wudang Mountain, where a large number of grotesque, strange, beautiful, dangerous and secluded peaks gather.

Fly drones here and see the world from high altitude. I saw several strange peaks nestled together in the fog, just like a fairyland on earth. On the precipice with a drop of more than 300 meters, the newly-built glass plank road looks like a beautiful chain. I still remember that during the period of 20 17, the Five Girls' Birthday Scenic Area had not been developed, so we could only look at it from a distance on the cliff of Wudang Peak, and we could not get close to it.

Danxia landform, like karst landform, is a very ornamental geological structure. In China, many Danxia landforms have been developed into tourist attractions, such as Wuyishan in Fujian, Yandang Mountain in Zhejiang, Hunan Mountain and Tian Fei Mountain, Danxia in Binggou, Gansu, Danxia in Chishui, Guizhou and Danxia Mountain in Shaoguan, Guangdong. These are typical Danxia landforms with great ornamental value.

Danxia landform is formed by marine glutenite. After years of erosion and weathering by flowing water, sandstone joints have peeled off and collapsed, eventually forming various strange and vivid shapes, giving people a beautiful visual experience.

Although there are many beautiful Danxia scenic spots, in my opinion, South Wudang Mountain can still stand out from the crowd and make people shine. The beauty of South Wudang Mountain lies in the precipice of nearly 400 meters. It lies in the stalagmite-shaped barrel-shaped peaks that rise from the ground; Located in an unfathomable ravine; Is to force the dark sky.

Leaving the Emerald Valley, there are hundreds of steep stone steps, and the climbing process is difficult. After that, we reached the highest point of the plank road in Xiaowudang Mountain. A new glass plank road was built in the scenic area, and five women paid homage to their birthdays. This glass plank road is about 200 meters long and surrounds a barrel-shaped mountain. At the foot is a cliff more than 300 meters deep. The listing price of this glass plank road is 10 yuan, but the entrance is unattended, so we can easily enter without buying a ticket.

Standing on the transparent glass plank road, it is best not to look under your feet. Because under the glass plank road is more than 300 meters suspended. The view here is particularly broad, and the breeze is refreshing. The opposite Wudang peak is clearly visible, and the building below is as small as a toy house.

It didn't take long to reach the gate of the newly-built scenic spot. The owner of the sister hotel in Henggang Village has been waiting at the door by car. At this point, this hiking trip ended successfully.

I stayed in Wudang town that night, only 5 kilometers away from the gate of the scenic spot. The next morning, after passing the gate of South Wudang Mountain Scenic Area again, we unexpectedly met a rare advection-like sea of clouds. Wudang Mountain is empty at this time. The lens can clearly see the newly-built U-shaped glass hanging gallery in Wudang Mountain. The glass hanging gallery protrudes more than 50 meters from the cliff, which is an excellent platform for viewing the beautiful Wudang Mountain. Tickets for the glass gallery are only 15 yuan/person, which is really a conscience price compared with other similar scenic spots in China.

At this moment, South Wudang Mountain above the sea of clouds is as mysterious and beautiful as a palace in the sky. It's beautiful, but it's so low-key. It's definitely a good place to go.
