How does the hotel set the salary for the waiters?
Working in a hotel for nearly ten years, I can share some salary methods as a colleague.
Accounting method 1: set the basic salary, ask the room attendant how much work each shift completes, and check the basic salary, such as morning shift 12 rooms, middle shift two floors and so on. On the basis of rated workload, extra work will be given commission. For example, if you build an extra room, it will cost 6 yuan each. If the morning shift is good, a waiter will make 15 rooms, and the commission will be 18 yuan on the same day. By analogy, every month's commission is calculated at the end of the month.
Accounting method 2: no basic salary is set, and the commission is directly based on the number of rooms.
I have tried all the above methods, and the results are excellent, and the employees are highly motivated. However, it is prone to the phenomenon of demanding quantity rather than quality, which requires a very strict quality control system and a foreman with strong execution to achieve the best results.
The above sharing, I hope it will help you.
