How to enter Thailand

Starting from December 22, 2021, there are the following two ways to enter Thailand. At present You can enter Thailand through the following two modes according to different conditions:

Living in Blue Zone Sandbox

Applicable starting from December 22, 2021 Starting from January 11, all those who have been fully vaccinated with 2 doses of approved vaccines and arrived by air (*Latest: Passengers departing from African countries can also use this method to enter Thailand from January 11). Before departure:

Complete vaccination with WHO is required 14 days before arrival in Thailand Or a vaccine certificate recognized by the Thai government (if you have recovered from the infection within 3 months, you must have completed one dose of vaccine 14 days before arriving in Thailand and obtain a recovery certificate from the hospital; no vaccine certificate is required for those under 18 years old);

RT-PCR negative certificate within 72 hours before the scheduled departure time of the outbound flight;

Proof of booking at a SHA or AQ epidemic prevention hotel for 7 nights (including 2 nucleic acid tests upon arrival);

Insurance covering the treatment of COVID-19 with a sum of US$50,000;

Starting from November 1st, you need to apply for a Thailand Pass on the website. The review time is about 3 to 5 days, and Presented at customs clearance; the Thailand Pass will replace the original Certificate of Entry (COE).

After arriving in Thailand:

Go to SHA or AQ epidemic prevention hotel for nucleic acid testing and wait for the results;

After arriving in Thailand:

Go to the AQ epidemic prevention hotel or testing center for testing;

Those who have been quarantined for 7 days must undergo a second nucleic acid test on the 5th or 6th day, and those who have been quarantined for 10 days must undergo a second nucleic acid test on the 8th or 9th day;

Only those whose test results must be negative and the quarantine period has expired can move freely within Thailand.

Anyone entering Thailand must apply for a "Thailand Pass":

Enter the Thailand Pass website, fill in the relevant information and upload the documents as required.

Required information includes: passport, vaccination certificate, SHA or AQ hotel reservation certificate, air ticket certificate, insurance certificate and Thai visa (if necessary), etc.;

Make an appointment after submission You need to wait for a review period of 3 to 5 days. It is recommended to apply 7 days before the trip. After passing the review, you will receive an email containing the pass QR Code or pass ID;

You must present the QR Code to the customs security personnel when arriving in Thailand.
